Perhaps MQM has smelt in advace that PP government is going to be toppled by the Pakistan Army.

Therefore, they are positioning themselve in advance so that they are not left behind in the game of power sharing in the future government of Pakistan – an addiction they cannot live without.

Otherwise eredication of all the evils which we are facing as a nation can be brought about more effectively and dureaby through a parliamentary system of government.

They cannot lobby in 342 members of national assembly for all those national causes how can they lobby with 17 Crore people. They themselve feel in the negative.

They seem to be in a hurry in capturing power in Islamabad or at least a share of it.

They speak about the plight of the poor at the hands of feudals, capitalists, industrialists. No body can say they are wrong. But what about when they get killed poor ordinary people in the streets of Karachi nearly every day. They gave to Karachi a ‘Bori Bund Killing’ and ‘Bhatta’ culture to Karachi. They must know the nation does not have a short memory about their horrendous crimes against innocent people of Karachi. Do they dream of converting the whole of Pakistan a hijacked and a terrorised Karachi.

Perhaps they are clever like Bhutto who could do any thing for power.

By a patriatic General, they mean a general with whom they will share power and whom they will say – he is a patriatic. Quite similarly as the PPP says a threat to democracy – if it is a threat only to Mr. Zardari’s govenment.

It is true they are second to none in their womanish arguments.

You are in the government, you are in the parliament – why do not you protest there and still insist to be in the corridoors of power and share with those whom you blame to be corrupt and lacking in ability to run the government. Why it is you want to do something which is equal to breaking the constitution. Perhaps, PPP have become your old friends and now you are after new friends in future. So clever crows.

Altaf Bhyia would never agree to in-house change by withdrawing his support from PPP in assembly because he knows PML-N would automatically come in power. While they hate Sindhis in general (frankly they hate everyone except themselves) and PPP, MQM is so dead-set against Nawaz Shareef because of his stance against Musharraf. They know that the moment PML-N comes in power, all hopes of Musharraf to return diminish and he would be charged with treason under article-6.

Army takeover would be recipe for disastor, but allowing pathetic gillani hakumat to stay would also complicate situation. other parliamentarins should play their role if they really do not want martial law.

You offered most sensible comments. That is what exactly politicians got to realize that they do n0t have much time it is do or die situation for them.

I second Ishaq Dar comments that altaf received dictation from India MQM,s first love. Some one should investigate the background of his irresponsible statement.

  • izatmaab said:

I believe if Altaf statement is not on the behalf of military or agencies they should denegate his statement and openly say that they have nothing to do with Altaf statement. Agencies silence is creating doubts.

Brother I partially agreed with you. I disagree that Nwaz Sharif has courage to try Musharaf under article #6. Nawaz Sharif only wants power and that is it.

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa barakatahoo,
Firstly, Pls…… concentrate on the current main issue ‘Flood victims’ and don’t divert it to dirty politics and politicians, who are lying in Ramdan and providing false excuses for their incompetence.
Secondly, anchor person should be neutral and provide all paricipants equal chance to provide his view.
    Wassalam

I liked the joke told by Mushahady that MQM never supported any dictator…..ho..ho…hop who was Musharaf? What a shame how these politicians lie infront of the nation bluntly.

First of all with due respect to every1 including ‘Anchors’; We live in space-age and are a part of civilised world. We must think before we leap and must have respect for humanity since we all are humans.
There has always been a tactics of criminals (particularly ‘chores’ and decoits) to divert attention of others towards a false and self created event – being not of their interest as well as far from the target as they phsychologically know that general public is always “Tamashbeen”, so that they should succeed in their mission.
Here 20 milion people already are suffering from the flood so there’s great scope of accomplishing the mission.
Sialkot event also diverted the attention.
MQM being partner of the present government, how can they remark such statement w/o consent of the ruling party?

I think that Mr. Dar is one of the VERY few (and I emphasize on the word “few”) reliable and honest people in the political ground who actually care about the country. The only person that we can relate to Mr. Dar in PPP is Mr. Raza Rabbani. We need a few more of each in both parties to START progressing…
