Najam Sethi is among very few journalists who criticize military leadership be it ISPR’s media campaign after refusing centcom visit or Maj. General picking up fight with Haji Adeel on non-issue.A lesson for people like Talat Hussein and Haroon Rashid who are there to beef up military leadership profile.
Najam Sethi presented very rightly and boldly his point of view. It conveys that every pillar of the government must work in accordance with the laid down rules. Present situation is due lack of trust among executive and Judiciary. However, serious problems are once executives having elected representatives are themselves corrupt or incompetent.
There is a dire need to think regarding screening of these people in coming elections to strengthen democracy. There may be some series of programs on this national issue because it cannot be simply left with majority of illiterate voters.
