what a helpless DCO. even if he wishes to do something, all the other departments won’t be that competent and vigilant to counter these sort of situations. police is not trained for these situations, neither do they have enough resources. sheer bad luck.

May ALLAH bless Pakistan and Pakistanis.

It is a harsh fact that no security apparatus in the world, including the most advanced
countries, has been able to stop/prevent suicide bombings. Particularly in a crowd of
thousands of people when a man with common face, dress and background slips in with
ill intentions, it is impossible to identify that man. So far no machine has been invented
which can sift a terrorist from innocent people. It is a joke for the media to corner a poor
official with loaded questions to humiliate him in public after the incident. Why does’nt
the media ask such questions about security plans before such events and point out any
weakness or loop hole in it. It appears that an anchor person’s role is the easiest and
safest, without any libility. I fully sympathise with the DCO.
