hehehe um in my ‘superficial’ understanding, All the martial laws in Pakistan have been at the best of the “world” and not really to address domestic issues.
1) Zia -> USSR’s invasion of Afghanistan
2) Musharaff -> 9/11
3) Ayub Khan -> Cold War and Increasing military to military cooperation with the US… maybe it wasn’t orchestrated as part of an “international plan” as such but tacit encouragement can not be ruled out.
It’s almost like, preceding, every major event or change in our region, there is a military take over in Pakistan. And ofcourse the ritualcondemnation and of military take overs in Pakistan is merely an eyewash for their own domestic compulsions.

Today’s program was a very painful and disturbing program to watch. The Dr. brought four lawyers including one of the personal servants and partners in crimes of Asif Ali Madari ethnic and family Mafia, and others the old and new elitist and arrogant multi milliners.
The tragedy of Pakistan is that we have a community of lawyers which is one of the most corrupt, criminally and morally bankrupt group of people. Currently we are applauding the lawyers movement and the stand the Chief Justice took, which has been and was a pleasant surprise that amongst the worst legal systems, or a mockery of a legal system where money and power buys and controls the justice and even the Chief Justice, a few good men took a stand and gave the poor and helpless, powerless, hopeless and depressed people some hope.
A corrupt police is the symptom of a corrupt and incompetent legal system which is compromised. The corrupt establishment and politicians are the symptoms of a weak and compromised legal system. So what did we learn? We learned that the root cause of all the problems of the Pakistan is and has been the corrupt, brutal, incompetent and at this stage a non functional legal system.
Why the Nawaz Shrif family Mafia , the Bhutto clan and Asif Ali Madari’s international crime mob, the MQM’s target killing goons and their head of the crime mob, Altaf Bhai and many other feudalistic criminal gangs, corrupt business Mafias and the people are still in power and flourishing like weeds, because non of them get justice. Even when they get caught red handed, the legal system protects them rather punish them.
What is all these politicaly compromized, the paid personal political servants, family and friends of the political crime bosses are doing in the talk shows twentyfour seven, they are saying in the defense of their political crime bosses for life that they did not get the conviction, so they are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
All these paid agents are the part of the parliament of Pakistan who will write laws to protect their God fathers and the 18th amendment is one of the worse examples of that. So the democracy, actually is for the rich and powerful to make laws to defend themselves and shield themselves from accountability and keep stealing from the poor and create tax shelters and crime shelters.
I am loosing hope with the current judiciary and its inability to do any accountability, because the current political mob bosses has billions of dollars to buy justice, mainly the high price pack of lawyers with no human conscience or feelings towards the humanity. Their God is money and more money is their salvation and haven on earth. All their children are elitist and they are enjoying the fruits of untold amount of wealth and power.
Marshal Law only comes when army does not like the govenment. Army doesn`t care about corruption , mismanagement etc. If it were the case Kiyani would have imposed marshal law long ago, infact he himself is responsibe for bringing this corrupt regime.
