Kamra Airbase was attacked earlier today at 2:00 AM and continued till 6:00 AM but the personnel of Pakistan Air Force and SSG Commandos successfully retaliated and killed at least eight militants while six security personnel were injured, one of whom is said to be in critical condition. Later around 7:00 AM twenty two people were killed when three passenger buses were targeted in Naran. DIG Gilgit claimed that the incident took place in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa not in Gilgit-Baltistan. Police have launched an investigation in the incident.
