I have been in touch with various participants on the site and working with them on launching few new ideas:
- We are launching online Video News, which will be covering stories that are normally not prominent on the main news channels, specially related to Judicial Crisis. The daily video will be built by news contributed by you guys. We are looking for female newscaster, who is technical enough to record and email the video clip via Internet.
A Campaign Against Martial Law event
The Campaign Against Martial Law invites you to a reading by Pakistani fiction writers and writers who are friends of Pakistan. The writers will be reading from their work, leading to a discussion on the intersection of literature and politics.

US Activists Arrested at Gunpoint by Pakistani Security Forces–Forced to Leave the Country
U.S. human rights activists Medea Benjamin and Tighe Barry (of Los Angeles) were arrested in Lahore, Pakistan at 8:30pm on Wednesday, December 4 after attending a student rally at the Lahore Press Club. Upon leaving the Club in the company of several journalists, the car they were driving in was pulled off the road. Armed policemen jumped out of cars and motorcycles and surrounded their car, guns drawn. They forced the driver and journalists out, beat passers-by who were looking at the scene, and hijacked the car with Benjamin and Barry inside. They raced recklessly through the crowded streets of Lahore, endangering the lives of those in the car and outside. They took the two activists to the Race Course Police Station. Benjamin was roughed up by a woman police officer who was given orders to take away their cell phone.

Around 250 visitors have registered in just last 2 hours from almost everywhere in the world and I have received a huge number of emails who are willing to join efforts in running an organized campaign in support of Judiciary and Media, whose rights have been axed by General Musharraf.
It is very difficult to coordinate between everyone around the world as one large group, therefore lets organise ourselves into smaller location based groups and keep our communications with our local coordinators.
The coordiantors should be able to respond to emails or telephone enquireies by other Pakistanis around the same City/State/Country for organisational purpose. All the local coordiantors will coordinate with other coordinators to synchorinize our efforts internatioanally.

Pakistani Students and Professionals have announced protest against attack on our Constitution, Judiciary and Freedom on Monday in London @ 2 p.m. and on Wednesday @ 1 p.m ~3 p.m outside Pakistani Embassy.
In order to coordinate our efforts in other locations, please immediately Register yourself at Pakistan United and share your Email, City and Country (name and phone number optional).

The comments on pkpolitics are getting Out of Control and this site heading towards becoming YouTube where you see all kinds of wonderful attacks and comments.
As I explained before, this site is used by many senior Media Personnel and Politicians for feedback, but it is now turning into a platform for attacks against other visitors on irrelevant topics. This is one of the few sites that trust you and allow you to post comments without registration and I want to keep it the same way.
I have been planning to write terms and conditions for sometime, but I don’t think I can come with simple yet effective terms all by myself.
I kindly request you to share your inputs that could help me in compile an effective terms of usage.
