Good to know that Ahmed is an agent. He is out to distory Pakistan or Islam? Can you shed some light on Mush, Fazlu, BeeBee, Nwaz and Baba Naththoo? I assume they are all agents too. How can I tell without even listening to them? Conspiracy theorist nation!

my questions to ahmed rashid if somebody can please convey to him
1. it took one generation to radicalise native pashtoons against communsm by CIA, look at american center in peshawar university, a center for propaganda agiasnt communism and pouring radical islam in afghans to fight agianst communism. it will take another generation to wipe that out. why ahmed rashid didnt criticise american false strategy agianst communism in 1980s
2. with development and proper education you can never get rid of radical islam in FATA, and Mr. sir Ahme rasheed is saying to americans to stop funding development. what kind of solution are you presenting Mr. sir Rasheed. you want FATA to be kept underdeveloped. pitty to see you as “analyst”
3. Mr. raseed didnt touch the reality of funding these jihadis, why he didnt describe the sources of funding to taliban. Russia wants to level score with americans, and they will provide support to anti american motives. China, China doesnt want america in its neighbours, and she will provide funds to anti american movement where ever in the world, whether its afghanistan or africa. Drug lords and mafia, biggest consumers of drugs dont want to see ban of poppy cultivation. will mr. rasheed enlighten us with these funding sources
4. arming pashtoon agianst pashtoon, does he want a civil war in nwfp like afghanistan, is he insane.

Hamid Mir has written about Ahmad Rashid and he says that he is very close friend of Karzai. Hamid Mir says that Ahmad Rashid is pro India & supports Indian activities in Baluchistan through its consulates in India.
Ahmad Rashid is currently a Lahore correspondent of Daily Telegraph UK.
I would have appreciated Ahmad Rashid if he had condemned India for causing troubles in Baluchistan. He first blames Pakistan for an hour then quickly says that India is only doing ‘tit for tat’. That is intellectual dishonesty.

I think despite all his bias, we should listen to SOME of the recommendations Ahmad Rashid makes. This will limit the role of Army and will be beneficial for a stable and democratic Pakistan.
Ahmad Rashid has also exposed MMA guys who were Taliban Commanders. Now we know one more reason why Fazlu cannot boycott the elections. If these guys are in opposition, they would be sent to Afghanistan.

I dont know a single ex-Parlimentatian who has ever been known a commander of Fighters in Afghanistan.As Kami said MMA guys were “exposed” or now he knows why FazluRehman can not boycott elections,It is believed at generally among his supporters. And it seems logical that He has been like this to save Madaris and Religeous People,IF u Keep in minid how initially Mush was trying to “Reform” Madaris and Making “Model” Mosques and demolishing mosques around the country (far prior to Lal Masjid Massacare) and capturing Religeous people including scientists and former Jihadis, MQM people helped a lot in karachi pointing out religeous.His Party also gave shelter to other victims of “U-TURN”.
It is obvious that Mush would have vanished all madaris including the famous Madaris in Karachi, Multan and NWFP if FazluRehman did not play the game as he did.

Please don’t ignore that who suffers from this ‘Jihad’.
Jihad in Islam means speaking the truth and challenging the enemy. Here our Army just sits around having all the money and ordinary young guys are sent to fight and then later abandoned as a U-turn.
Army has even refused to acknowledge the dead bodies and these innocent young guys are buried without a Muslim burial.
We should stick to our cause that is removing army’s influence in politics and that doesn’t mean that we should support any person or idea which might lead to our countries destruction. Just listen to this debate, Ahmed Rashid is one of the biggest liars (foreign agent- listen to the answers he gave) our country will ever produce. I will even support ISI if they deal with these journalists.
Some of the journalist in Pakistan are worst than even Musharaf. During Jamia Hafsa crisis our media and some dirty journalist gave the impression that Pakistan’s survival is at stake. Pakistan is not a weak state where a mare 3000-5000 people can destroy its integrity but some news channels and journalist alike tried their best to make the Pakistani society believe that Lal Masjid and Jamia Hafsa will take over Pakistan.

Also you can see different editions of DAWN, Daily Times, The News, ARY, Geo News, BBC Urdu.com etc all of them were advocating an all out attack on Lal Masjid and Jamia Hafsa. For me this is the worst kind of journalism and in future will divide our society even more. All anchor persons and media organizations who were shouting for action have blood on their hands just like those who fired the shots.
