I have said this before, this is incompetency of PPP government. I dont blame criminals be it from any political party. These killings have been happening for a long time with a set pattern and government is just unable to stop them.

But when I think about it, PPP, ANP and MQM are all part of government. I still consider PPP government as the biggest responsible for this situation.

I read in news, this is a common practice as soon as people question rangers presence in Karachi target killing intensify. Especially after last incident, people were angry with rangers so is target killing intensified, now people will be busy in keeping track of daily target killing numbers rather then asking about the death of poor boy by rangers and their role in cities.

Thanks Dusky for pointing to very important corelation. Once killing stops there wouldn't be any need for rangers. If they leave what would happen to businesses. Corrupt rangers and agencies, helll ya that seems like their job.

The main culprits to this problem are MQM and then PPP and ANP.

As long as these terriost party MQM are there, we will never get peace in Karachi.

this is the mainreason why karachi is still a terbulant city.Blaming MQM, ANP and PPP.
I second bsobaid's post, its govt who is sole responsible. They are incompetant that's why MQM and ANP keep black mailing them.

Most of the recent target killings in karachi happened in orangi town.Orangi is very disturbed area in karachi.
After 2008 polls the PPP leaders and workers in orangi intensified their political activities in the area and this created conflict between PPP and MQM workers.MQm high command felt that if PPP activities are not controlled then they might lose orangi in next polls.During this period orangi also witnessed a surge in its pashtun population because of displacement in tribal areas because of military operations and conflict.
This bolstered ANP in orangi to the dislike of MQM.

ANP is getting more strong in karachi and they are operating terrorist activities from suhrab goth and asif Square where there are several activits present to recieve signal from their lords then they go and hit the targets and thier local workers just remain visible to thier areas to show that they are not involved in killings becuase attackers were sent from unidentified locations of defferent areas.

last month when i went on vacation i found clash between ANP and JSQM workers on boundery wall in bhitai abad ,gulistan-e-jouher,after one hour ANP activits were brought from asif squre and suhrab goth with heavy weapons and killed 2 JSQM workers and injured 6 while they were working with messon to install boundary wall to stop the pathan not to enter in the jsqm area...

ANP activists repeating the same pattern of MQM collecting money from shops, houses, hotels on gun point.

one of our friend father purchased land in PIA coloney and he was installing bunglow ,suddenly he recieved the order from ANP activits that before designing bunglow must pay 5 lacs other wise stop the work..finally he went to higher authority and he found asif zardari cousin who was his nieghbour and he appraoched the ANP leadership in karachi when he(zardari) went there he was told that oh we(ANP leadership) was not awared of this situation , since you informed ANP then we will charge 3 lacs despite of 5 lecs.........this is real story that in future any one ignore ANP will not forget MQM start....and time will come that MQM will beg for peace in karachi...

It is sad to see so many people getting killed on a regular basis.

It seems that ethnic and political affialition has taken over our socities and slowly and gradually I see the demise of the common binding factors of being human and Pakistani.
