BATKHELA/SWAT: Three bodies were found hanging from electricity poles in different areas of the Malakand Agency on Monday. Sources told The News that the body of Mustafa, a local resident and Taliban militant, was hanging from the electricity pole in the main square of Thana town.

Similarly, another dead body was found hanging from the electricity pole on the main road in Haibatgram village. The deceased was identified as Sarzamin Khan alias Kaki, a resident of Haibatgram.

The deceased, whose name could not be ascertained, was a resident of Garhi Usmanikhel and used to sell vegetables in Dargai. He was accused of spying for Taliban.

you wont hear anything in the media.

you wont hear anything in the media about Afia Siddiqui. you wont hear anything in the media about the "headscarf martyr". you wont hear the complete stories of the displaced people. you wont hear the stories of the innocent civilians who died during this operation. who were they? what did they do for a living? how many kids did they have? how many lives dependent on them?

these are all questions that need to be answered. but im not expecting any good from the media. the same media which aired every 5 minutes a video of a girl allegedly being flogged by some men. which was later found out to be a fake video and some experts even said, that wasn't even a girl in the video

Well Talibans were the ones to intoduce this fashion in the society so now they better be ready to do a cat walk in a style introduced by themselves.

On a serious note though, These incidents just show the overall illiterate, cruel, inhumane and ignorant mentality of the people of that area, be it talibans or the locals for that matter!

brutality is brutality and none of them both is inventor of it.The point to wonder is that there is not even a single potent journalist who could dare to go there in actual and video tape it? and talk about it loudly?

Impotents, sell outs,Bhangis aint expected to do anything better!!

I am sure the major rightist part of our media would have loved to show this maltreatment with their beloved "strategic assets" of the past but I think they are smart enough to know that any such attempt would become a reason of celebration for the major part of our nation which is something that they would hate to digest!

They have already learnt their lesson by exposing the truth about Ajmal Qasab and know that instead of praising them for their unbiased journalism, to their surprise, this nation criticised them and called them indian agents!

lol...and I would say that you have no idea of the over-all emotional mood of our nation!!

After all even talibans hailed from this very nation which was already indulged in inhumane traditions like vanni, satti, karokari etc etc!!!

I think a little smirk would be more lethal then a loud bhangra in this case ..besides any form of dance is too difficult to understand for these lots ..so why not insult them by their own traditions i.e just a smile & not even a laugh (as that would "undo" their "vazoo" ;)
