Hizb ut-Tahrir conducted press conferences in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. Lahore press conference was addressed by the spokesman of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Pakistan Naveed Butt whilst Hizb’s deputy spokesmen Shahzad Shaikh and Imran Yousafzai addressed the conferences in Karachi and Lahore respectively.

They said that Pakistan is faced by unprecedented dangers as a result of the collaboration of the agent rulers with America. American intelligence and private military organizations are conducting a campaign of bombings and assassinations throughout the country, whilst through “strategic dialogue” with America, the agent rulers are conducting a war of fitna in the tribal areas, where Muslims face Muslims on the battlefield so that America may maintain its failing occupation in Afghanistan. After Jamia-e-Hafsa, Swat and South Waziristan operations government is conducting military operation in Orakzai Agency. Moreover this has been announced that the army will soon conduct operations in South Waziristan as well, something for which America has been putting pressure on Pakistan for quite some time. On the other hand the masses have been entangled with fake electricity crisis so that they may not resist America’s war of terror as well as Blackwater and DynCorp who are busy bombing civilians to produce chaos. Not only that to further push Pakistan into American clutches these rulers have ruined Pakistan’s economy and thrown the masses into the quagmire of poverty, hunger, inflation and electricity shortage. They said that the two years of this democratic government has proven the fact that Democray and dictatorship are two sides of the same coin which the America uses one after the other. Enough is enough! There remains no excuse for the apologists. Whoever ignores the treachery of these rulers also shares the burden of their crime. RasulAllah صلى الله عليه و سلم said:

“If the people witness an oppressor and they do not take him by his hands (to prevent him) then it is near that Allah will cover them all with punishment.”
    [Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah]

The time has come that the People of Power rescue 180 million Muslims of Pakistan from this dire situation. They announced that on Sunday 9 May 2010, Hizb ut-Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan will issue a bold declaration to the People of Power in Pakistan at the Islamabad Press Club, Islamabad, Pakistan before the media which will have solution to Pakistan’s problems. They called upon the media that it should fulfill its responsibility to convey this declaration to the People of Power in the best possible way.

i wonder how different organisation play with the emotions of common people...
just look how hizb ut tahrir use this hadith against the rulers:

'''''''“If the people witness an oppressor and they do not take him by his hands (to prevent him) then it is near that Allah will cover them all with punishment.”
    [Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah]'''''''''

the fact is that the hadith has nothing to do with rulers. its about oppressors in the society and it favours the human rights organisations who struggle to defend human rights against the oppressors. to clarify this meaning let me quote some of the ahadith that clearly order muslims to obey the ruler even if he is 'fasiq'.

the hadith clearly states that even if the ruler imposes non islamic rules upon muslims, they have to obey him. its he who will be punished for wrong orders not the muslims.

    some other ahadith:

these ahadith not only state clearly that a muslim must obey the ruler even if the ruler is fasiq and his orders are against islam but they also state that those who did not obey the orders of the ruler they will die the death of ''jahiliyya''. moreover it says that if anyone disobeys the rulers others are allowed to kill him...

    after these two points
    1. muslims are ordered to help the opressed (such as NGOs are doing) and we see almost none of the religious organisations fulfilling this duty,
    2. they are clearly prohibited from any disobedience of the ruler even if he is fasiq (all the four law schools are also agreed on this point)

now one may asks why all the muslim organisations do not follow these clear orders of the prophet and struggle against the orders of the rulers...

there is only one answer for this question. all this struggle has nothing to do with religion. its a power struggle for political purposes. the banner of ''religion'' is used only to ease their way to power coz its very easy to exploit the common people in the name of religion and ethnicity...

What I find wrong with HizBut Tehree like any religious party in Pakistan is they have failed to set example. When Islam becomes agenda then advocater should set models rather than just lip service.
Whenever we Muslims this much needed requirement,we would be able to establish ideal societies.

i think europe has already set example for muslims. all they need to do is to understand that islam is not the solution but its the other way round. eating more sugar can not be a solution for diabetes. just give it a try and you will see the results with your own eyes :)

i think saudi arabia has implemented sharia. women cant even drive a car. you saw the sharia system of taliban. why werent they successful even after implementing sharia? same with iran etc. what else is meant by implementing islam?

it seem that its more a scapegoat than a reality to blame the people that they dont follow islam... europe is successful without implementing islam (whatever is meant by implementing islam). how can we say islam is the solution???

Royal kings implementing Shariah, give me a break!
there were drawbacks in Talibans style of gov but overall i don't see anything wrong with their gov.
Iran is doing very well, whats wrong with them.

i dont think anyone will include iran or taliban govt in successful govts. if this is the result of sharia, then all sharia lovers might want to withdraw :)

they dream that if sharia is implemented they will have better rule of law than that in the west.
