Listen to this kid and then look at our leaders who are happy to pay up for an american spy release who killed 3 Pakistani's but have no interest in these abducted pakistani's by Somali Pirates..

Yes, so sad to see that whole govt & military machinery got activated for a convicted spy, but no one is taking responsibility for other citizens-

I guess it is too much to assume that Zardari or Gillani would something about this, they are more occupied with extension of their rule & execution of foreign policies than to take care of affairs of their citizens-

I am very sad about our people kidnapped by Somali pirates. But I am also surprised that why all countries are not starting an operation to eliminate those pirates? We frequently hear that pirates have captured so and so ship or men of so and so country but no action is taken against the pirates.

The poor captin is still in their captivity.Yesterday on Express news Dr. Maria did another programe which I missed most of the part.Their family open an account to collect as much as they can but still no one showed up.Only a rikshaw driver from lahore called to tell them that he himself is a poor man but he can also sell his kidney.
The anchor took this F@Ucking low life ****, Zafar Halali who was very sarcastic and blame the captin that he should've avoided the voyage knowing the sesitivity of the area.He said govt. has no responsibility and if they have open an account then people can give some "Kherat" to arrange the ransom money(Yes he used the word kherat. When Anchor lady objected on his choice of words he defended his word knowing that the cute little daughter of the poor captain is also listening to this B******'s nonsence.
How can he say that its not govt. resposibility when hazrat Umer held himself responsible for even a dog who died far away from Madina.

He is son of agha hilali ambassidor to USA and famous Agha Shahi was his uncle.Come from a "diplomatic family" but don't know how to use his words.
    You are right Salam Bhai
They all have sold thier integrity against a very low price of their Eman.I still shivers to think what that little girl will be feeling when he heard that his father's release depends on the kherat and the country they belong has no resposibility of their well being.

God forbid, if anything happened to these pakistanis I'll will never forgive this man.
There was also another participent some navy official he too was ignoring the sensitivity. Why we cann't send our warship in the area to release our men.

    Malik Riaz where are you?????

  11. Assalam-o-Alaikum-Warahmat-ULLAH ALL,

    Recently we had someone come over for wedding. Once in our gathering, he said;

The current system is great, other than the times when one is in trouble. There's no one to help you when your in trouble.

That's one of the many wrongs the current system does to human beings. It works to "break" the "bond" between human beings from their most vital, cherished relationships. When a human being "chooses" to break those close relationships, who's going to come to their help, in bad times ? .. No one.

Rehman Malik said they have contacted Interpol an these pakistanis will be released soon. And also ranson is not the solution

The daughter of this Captin ask him what if his own son got into pirates hand, what he will be doing then. Will he not be arranging the ransom money.

I wonder why GEO is not reporting this. Why channels are taking this issue like they took Shoib/Sania merraige or like the follow fashion weeks in mumbai.

No one realise what this kid will caarry in her mind for the rest of her life. How will you ask her to be loyal to her country.
We can spend precious money and precious airtime of reopening of a dead man's case but cannot free a living soul.

Sorry one correction, Rehman Malik said he "WILL" contact interpol. He hadn't contacted yet.He also said that he want permanent solution of this kidnapping issue in somalia.

I think target killing and ranson issue in pakistan is resolved and now he want to teach somalis how to tackle this issue.
    Yo know first hand experience.

May Allah reunite them with their families.

PM Glani also has taken up the case and promised to get these pakistanis back as soon as posible. Each apssing day is adding frustration and fading hope. How can we be so brutal in our feelings and lifeless in our emotions that we cann't heard the cries of a child and, cann't see the tears in her eys , can not feel the agony adaughter went through for her father. She wants to celebrate her birthday with her father.

We love to mourn deaths rather then saving lives.

Express News run a full show "Azadai Show" yesterday for these captured pakistania.TV ONe and Saama also aired news about this.I Haven't seen any news on other channels specailly GEO.Sort of complete balck out. Why, because its someelse's story, because its not "commercialy viable"
Ch. shujat's son valima or IK's dharna are more important or Shah Mehmood's non sence speech is more valuable the the tears of Laila Wasi.

This nations talked about the revolution,About Insaf, about merit, and when it comes to act we simoly hide in our couches and let other people handle it.We as a nation becomes exibitionist, we love the act on what media hypes. We love to feel sorrow for those in agony and love feel forunate not tobe the part of that agony.

Can't you feel the pain in that little girl's voice when she desparatily siad she will beg on the roads and sell her kidney to save her dad.

BTW Zardari send five laikh ruppess Salami for Ch shujat's son.

If We have any of the office bearers of PTI, I request you to please ask your party to sau something on this issue also. Its really getting closer and God forbid anything if anything happend which must not be happening then atleast one little girl will lose her faith on her country and country men and most importantly she will lose faith on the goodness of morality.
I've sent this request to other politicle parties through certain channels and don't know if any of the leader speak about it today or not.

BTW how many of you have daughters?I've two

Saama and Express are covering the story almost daily, mehar Bukhari also did a programme or may be a series but Im amzaed why Geo is not giving it any time.
Hamid Mir, the other day trying to solve the india pakistan and kashimir issues in 45 minutes programme but still cannot find much time to hear the cries of this little Laila.

Govt. don't want to pay ransom but still it can pay through back door.A lot of other countries paid the ranson and get their people released.

I don't understand why people are not taking it seriously like chilean govt took their miners.

Oh I see!! Govt busy with new alliances and people in Royal Weeding

Governer Sindh and Ansar Barni are leaving UAE today so that the release of these poor shipmen can be finalized.Governer Sindh was very instrumental is this case and his efforts must be applauded.Although I have a lot of reservation about Barni brothers but just this case, I really appriciate his efforts. It is said the Dr Ishrat ul Ibad persued AKD(the Stock market guru)to arraange the ransom money contacting other bigs guns of stock exhange and notable businessmen. They responded positively and now the captive pakistanis and others are more likely tobe released this week.

What good can happen to a daughter then to reunite with his beloved father and a mother to his son and a wife to his husband.

I still never found a single news on GEO about this whole issue.Everyday they tell me how many days gone Geo super is not restored and what fashion week is in india or france or UAE.

Families of Indian sailors unhappy with government
    Deepender Deswal, TNN | Jun 14, 2011, 02.37pm IST
ROHTAK: Six Indian sailors are set to return home after spending nearly ten months in the captivity of Somali pirates in the Gulf of Aden after Pakistani human rights activist Ansar Burney secured their release by paying the ransom demanded.

Among the 22 hostages who had been freed by the pirates are four Pakistanis, one Sri Lankan and 11 Egyptians besides the two Indians from Haryana and one each from Himachal, J&K, Mumbai and Tamil Nadu.

The families of four sailors- Ravinder Gulia of Rohtak, Satnam Singh of Ambala, Prashant Chauhan of Shimla and MK Sharma from J&K had raised the issue up till the Prime Minister and had urged the Indian government but got nothing but assurances.

Sampa, wife of Ravinder Gula, said, "It's a bond of humanity cutting across boundaries that has saved the lives of our dear ones. I am all thanks to the Pakistan national Burney and even the Pakistan government which helped in the efforts to get the hostages released".

"I have just talked to my husband who informed me that he is likely to reach home in next 9-10 days. He says that all the sailors are in good health and have gotten out of the danger zone in the sea", Sampa said.

Samoa has been running from pillar to post and even had a heated exchange with some politicians during her efforts to get the government to help in securing her husband's release.

"My ten month agony has finally come to an end thanks to Pakistan human rights activist Ansar Burney's efforts. Even the Pakistan government has played a positive role in the process of getting the hostages freed as the sovernor of Sind state Ishratul Ebad raised funds to pay the ransom amount to the pirates. But the Indian government and politicians let us down", said Sampa.

"I have taken a personal vow to never cast my vote as these politicians have little concern for the miseries and grievances of the common people," she added.

She said that she had talked to several senior ministers who had flatly refused to extend help stating that they could not pay ransom as it was illegal.

"Is securing the human lives illegal? They refused to talk to the pirates to get Indian citizens freed. Had there been the relative of any politician or VIP among the hostages, the Indian government would have come to its knees to ensure his/her release and there have been such instances in the past. But the lives of the common man does not move them" she said.

According to reports, the Egyptian shipping company was to contribute $1 million, while Pakistan and India were to raise $500,000 and $600,000respectively. However, as the deadline loomed, Indian did not fulfill its end of the bargain.

Somali pirates had hijacked the Egyptian cargo ship MV Suez in the Gulf of Aden on August 2, 2010.

Ansar Barni and Governer Sindh Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad did a commnedable job and of course ISI Chief Pasha was the one who made it possible to get the flying permission from egypy within 24hrs otherwise this might have been delayed for unlimited time due to ongoing disturbance in egypt.

Its a team efort of private and public sector which proves that despite all the ills this nation still holds high moral values and eager to demonstare their passion and love for life.
Media(excluding GEO) specially ARY, SAMMA and Express news kept the issue alive and put whatever pressure they can to make this happen.

"Saving one life is to save humanity"
