After listening to a phone call of a resident of Sawat on BBC URDU SERVICE, I am baffled by Army operation, Talibans and Media circus. It seems Talibans and Army are in league, who is behind Taliban suicide atrocities? I am amazed by Pakistani establishment and Army. Please listen to this conversation,

I thought ARMY hasn't made it to SWAT yet. They were clearing Buner, Dir, recapturining peaks, etc.

First reports of Army storming Mingora have just come out today.

My understanding is that they are surrounding Swat to cut off escape routs and gradually closing in to reclaim it.

Isn't it obvious,Zardari goes around telling the world that we have launched operation in swat and next we'll enter waziristan. So basically whole thing is staged and intended for international audience. During Musharaf era too Mush used to play double game for his own survival and even Americans blamed him for that countless times in their internal meetings.

Army too is wearing Taliban uniform. Other day i saw on Samma tv toyota Hilux half filled with uniformed army men, while half of them fully armed were wearing white shalwar Qameez and wearing turbans

. I agree with the caller who said army is not engaged in real war the way they are giving the message to the world. I have spoken to loads of my friends and relatives in Swat who are still there entrapped in the curfew
They are saying the same thing that army is around but only hitting innocents people and their properties. There is constant curfew and people are entrapped there

IJay! How could you be so sure that the call was a fake call? I am not talking about a call, I am telling you the truth what I have heard from my relatives and friends who are actually trapped in Swat and I am pretty sure that they were not lying to me and they are not mistaken either. I know that mobile phones do not work in Swat but landlines were working until last week. This week even landlines are not working. But having said that, some people have wireless landline connections and even these do no work all the time, but definitely work time to time. So that telephone call could not be fake although not a strong point to make but the caller's accent was typical Swati accent. I have served in Pakistani Army for some time and I have full confidence in them and respect them but the fact remains the fact and this is a fact that in Swat Army (ISI) is playing on its own written script. Some of the lines from the scrip are forgotten which they try to correct simultaneously but they do not succeed in this each time they try so.

I think you did not read me above. I have spoken to my family on the phone last week while they were in Swat and you don't believe this. Now if you insist to call a bright day, a night and vice versa then I can't do anything to make you believe that.
