Side note: Heard this from a senator last night...

Recently, Malik Riaz's son returned to Islamabad from overseas and has several large crates in his luggage. The custom officials wanted to check them out. He refused to let them do it but did leave the airport saying do what you please. A little while later federal ministers -- Rehman Malik and Ahmed Mukhtar -- arrived at the airport and got the crates released. The senator told me they were called up Zardari who ordered them to get to the airport immediately. This was 2:00 am in the morning.

i can say that with press confrence of nzawaz i ahve bacome a great fan of him.

i have no problem with haroon rasheed as ajurnalist writing for imran khan-- fro me that is ok-- but to propagate establishment agenda and fitting imran in that is a problem

Stop worrying about Nawaz Sharif. Imran Khan is never going to rule this country and this is for sure. No one would pass the nuclear arsenal's launch button to a 60 year old teenager having no sense of holding back and is regarded as lose cannon. Stop bullshitting around pkpolitics..

I would not call Talat Hussain an Aabpara journalist.

It is more the case of a couple of TV anchors who thought that they know what is best for the country. They decided to use their clout to bring to throne a certain "personality" whom they considered a saviour of the nation.

However, things started to go awry when the media popularity of that "personality" failed to translate into on ground support. So in desperation, they have been trying to discredit the popular leadership.

@Nota, Do you know about an interesting case of Rawalpindi-Islamabad which happened with one of big slot of our forces.
Today that ended as Raymond case. (Razi-namah). You can not find that on google search because it was only reported in Urdu papers. There are many cases never come on media.

@bsobaid, the first thing which happens in every democratic country after such an incident is for the government to take responsibility and either resign or take strong action against what it believes to be the culprits.

Nawas Sharif's BAILOUT of this government AGAIN shows where he is putting his wait in. He is the friendly opposition and knows his interests lies with Zardari rather than a transparent governmental system.

Nawas Sharif is only responsible for sustaining this curse of a government. How many chances did he got to oust this corrupt government but he opted to save Zardari rather than save Pakistani public?

What does he fear? Army takeover? But a leader should not fear the consequences. He should stand up for what is right. No direction, no vision on the part of NS. Just trying to settle old scores with the army and the agencies for their overthrow of his 1999 government.

Why would I hate Sharif when my family voted for "Sharifs" until now? But now we see a better option in Imran Khan. Nawas Sharif was just the lesser of two evils, the bigger one being PPP. The first real option which I will willingly vote for is Imran Khan.
