Add a "RECOMMEND" link to the posts

    Just a suggestion for moderator. Can you add a "RECOMMEND" link to the posts both in Discuss section and video section?

    An example:

    http://newsforums.bbc.co.uk/nol/thread.jspa?forumID=7391&edition=2&ttl=20100107155404

    This will help us highlight the better posts, and also when a particular threads gets too long, it becomes usually pointless to agree to someone one's post above, as your comment will get lost.

    Also if you do plan to incorporate, please ensure that the only registered users are able to recommend, and recommend counter should show the ids of people, who have recommended.

    You can't negate inputs from some people based on your personal liking.

    Anyone and everyone should be able to post relevant content, no matter how long it is.

    That is what discussion entails.

    dude, how is this negating input ? There are plenty of times, where you agree to other people's posts. And this will help highlight a good post to read.

    And how is this stopping people from discussing things..totally irrelvant!
