Muslims have chosen to 'learn' the lessons Islam teaches us, the hard way.

So be it. Learn they will. It is sad, it is unfortunate that Muslims have chosen to learn these lessons the hard way i.e., the way through which their lives, their families, their belongings will be destroyed.

I worry for future of my people (i.e., Muslims).

The title is misleading. Yes he is in trouble because he did not pay his property tax (Must have thought he was in Pakistan so he didn't have to)

We tend to criticize INDIA for everything... At least they target their enemy state passport holders... In Pakistan, any TOM, Sheikh, Karzai or Mujeeb ur rehman can get pakistani passport or buy anything including Senate seat (for 4 Carore) I didn't had that much of Harram money or else in 2008 i would have tried that too. (I did ask Mulla nafse Zikkar but he refused and instead offered me a heavy Jacket to take it with me to Senate... I wasn't so sure than... lol)

If Adnan Sami Khan has not paid his property tax, then it is his mistake/crime. He needs to resolve this 'injustice'.

I am saddened that Adnan Sami has abandoned his country and sought to live in India permanently. I could have understood if he had gone to the west, but india is a choice I can not comprehend. Its even sadder that his Dad (may he rest in peace) was a career diplomat/ ambassador for Pakistan.

May be many people forgot in recent years when A S KHAN had problem in India he request Pakistani government to help him,in last so many years he tried with different paperwork to get citizenship like mention one of his close relative who born in an Indian occupied Kashmir but unsuccessful,please India give him nationality we don't want him otherwise he can get Afghanistan citizenship because of his new wife then apply for India nationality then they will give you afterall Afganistan and India have very good brotherly relations).

if i get second chance i would prefer to have Pakistan or American citizenship again.... Dont understand why the hell any body want to have indian citizenship...unless they are offering Malika Sharwat free with passport....

Above criticism of Adnan Sami is unjustified. Lots of people do not like him because he lives and works in India. His singing talent is well acclaimed in India and Adnan Sami has the right to work wherever he wants. If he is not eligible for property ownership in India then he has made a mistake. Every country has their laws which MUST be abide by everyone. We have developed a hateful and negative psyche about India but we love watching Indian movies. Everyone in Pakistan loves Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif but India is our enemy number 1. Everyone loves listening Indian music but India is our enemy number 1. Everyone loves to go to USA but according to lots of hypocrates America is also our enemy. What broad day hypocrisy!!!

I hope our kids, grand kids or great grand kids will realize India and Pakistan are not two hostile nations. We have same blood. We are like east and west Germany, north and south Korea. We have to overcome the political madness of mid 1940's. We do not have the option to change our neighbor.

i dont think we have same blood and we are not north & south Korea or East/West Germany. After 60 + years we have realized that what ever happened is reality and we are two nation
Pakistan and India ( Not Hindu and Muslims). Yes, there should be peace and progress on both sides but we are not shouldnt dream for one nation under several Gods.

yes, some people do have "same blood" but those are very very few, most of the people do not have same blood, but the hatred sowed by british and then later nurtured by pk establishment is another 'science'..

Sweettruth, I love you, but I hate US. I have never been there and never want to. Similarly, I hate Indian movies. The music is a different matter, but it is ours as much as theirs.

KHAN_Sahib, beautiful posts. Mullah would have made an excellent MP.

As for India, One thing which hasn't occurred to anyone apparently is that it is our country. We are not theirs, but they are definitely ours. For three hundred years we gave them the best government the times could imagine. And then, circumstances forced us out of the mainland. People of vision know fully well that the Subcontinent will join up again someday. Not as in the past, no, but in the form of a loose confederation. Until then, we just have to put up with their various stupidies and avoid war.
