    This is what I am trying to explain that inadequate operations causing mass massacres of innocent people. That is how the situation is not improved but aggravated.

    military operation is never a solution to a political problem. Had that been the case , we won't have witnessed the collapse of USSR.

    We are more or less in agreement with regards to our points of view. Indira Gandhi tried to apply military solution to Sikhs's problems. Her military operation over Golden Temple later costed her her life. The Indians then found and applied political solution to the problems of the Sikhs. Since 1984, there has been no significant activity of the Sikhs against the state of India.
