Aitzaz Ahsan expelled from PPP-CEC

    A very disappointing decision! He was the most vocal voice in CEC for the favor of restoration of Judges.

    about time people like Aitzaz ahsen and fatima bhutto revive the old PPP of ZA bhutto,enough of zardari league

    People like Aitzaz Ahsan are the asset of our poor (in every respect) nation. He has contributed most to Pakistan peoples party's image and betterment which is another asset of Pakistan thn anybody else in the party.

    We need to understand that his presence in the party and in the lawyer movement is Very important.

    It was a Mob mentality which immediately led most of our ppl to blame Aitzaz Ahsan for not giving dharna last year and accused him traitor and black sheep. Now for those same people he is turned into hero again. All I'd say to them for ridiculing great minds of Pakistan:

    "Sharam tum ko magar nahin aati"

    It is not the First time Aitzaz Ahsan has been expelled from Party. He met the same fate in 1977 By Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto himself for his anti party activities when there was a Mullah Movement going on against PPP. He joined Tehriq -e- Istiqlal whose leader Asghar Khan was announcing to Hang Bhutto at Kohala PULL.

    He was inducted in the party back as lawer and represented Benazir Bhutto in number of cases. He was even rewarded with party sanate Ticket when he lost election of Lahore in 1993.

    Histry is repeating itself there is movement against party also by Mullahs and Aitzaz Ahsan again is on the wrong side of the fence.

    this new piece shows the Great Tolerance in the great Democracy Champ party of Pakistan....
    they claim that they r the only democratic party ...and that is thier criteria ...if Aitzaz is on the other view point...he has to be given a shut up call or be expelled from the party...
    my salute to so called democractic PPP....

    thanks for sharing us the history page so we cab better understand now ...that how intolerant this party is to opposite view point....

    @ My dear Beenai,
    Democracy has nothing to do where party discipline is at stake.
    Mualana Kausar Niazi was expelled from the Jamaat-i-Islami, where he differed with Mualana Moudoodi on certain political issues.
    Each and every Party has a history of expulsions.
    Now we have to watch, how far Aitzaz Ahsan is successful to cash and glamorize his expulsion?

    10 Feb 2009 ... The African National Congress has expelled eight councillors who actively campaigned agianst ANC in the Free State. African National Congress provincial secretary Sibongile Besane said the councillors had been expelled.

    See it is very normal all over the world. In a political party you may have say on the party forum and Atizaz admitted that he had freely enjoyed this right freely expressing many times in Party meetings and also with Asif Zardari but at the end when central executive committee decides some issue with majority one cannot go public ally against it. If you Go then secretary General has the right to ask the explanation.

    I think it will help Aitazaz ahsan for his allegations like most munafiq person in pakistan politics and do kashtiun ka sawar and moqa parast etc. etc. so he will get clear from these allegations if he remains sincere to his cause.
