  4. Assalam-o-Alaikum-Warahmat-ULLAH ALL,

    In a country where;

    1) the govt. says it is not responsible for the common man

    2) govt. officials themselves, don't adhere to law of the land

    3) ministers call foreign private security firms to ensure their safety

    4) there is rampant injustice, corruption

    how can the common man depend on govt. for his safety ?

    This present Govt. itself! is promoting injustice in Pakistan, how can it claim to be working for weapons-free Pakistan ?

    What has the govt. done so far, what is it doing to;

    -> ensure rule of law prevails within Pakistan's borders ?

    -> have weapons-free Pakistan ?

  7. Assalam-o-Alaikum-Warahmat-ULLAH ALL,

    Admin / Moderators: Can we please remove netengr's comment above, give him a stern warning 'to stay on topic', please ?

    JI has no! role in 'weaponizing' Pakistan, especially in the last 10 years.

    We already know the arms comming in to Pakistan are a direct result of lawlessness. Lawlessness that the current 'coalition' government is 'promoting', rather than 'curbing'.

    P.S. IJT has not! violated any laws of Pakistan in the last 10 years as well. Yes, student unions were banned. That was a good! step. We finally! had peace! in public Universities as a result. Personally, I haven't seen any news of violence of student unions in mass media since 1999.
