    Why isn't Amir Khan getting any publicity for being of Pakistani origin? Pakistani flags in the crowd (can't the crowd tell from a Brit flag to a Pak flag?), Amir Khan whole team wears green and white...But all the media call him a brit, and say out of the 8000 fans in Las Vegas, majority were Brits. I find it hard to believe that more than 80 people in the crowd would be Brits. Most likely 4000 would be Pakistani's from U.S, UK, Canada....

    I live in Kalifornia. I think of myself as Pakistani first than I belong to U.S. Maybe some Pakistani's from Britain can help me out here.

    I think all Pakistanis have a soft corner for Amir Khan. All the Pakistanis I know have shown no doubt about their support for Amir Khan!

    Congratulations to all. Amir Khan beat his opponent in convincing style in fifth round! :)

    yesterday i thought about posting something about Amir Khan here...
    but then he is expakistani? who care about expakistanis now...Pakistanis should proud of real Pakistanis, they are only who can bring any pride or fix for mess in Pakistan

    With IMF and corrupt politicians running Pakistan then Pakistan is "off course" geared to tackle the financial problems without contributions from the expats.

    Wondering why Amir got a conduicve environment in Britain to demonstrate and improve his talent. Why cant we create a conducive environmentin Pakistan for sports and arts to flourish.

    Amri played for Britain and did not represent Pakistan. While there is no harm in getting happy as Pakistanis but the fact is Amir was representin Britain.

    hypocrite is right.

    He played for Britain, as a British citizen, representing Britain. He got the training in Britain, he worked under British coaches, in a British environment.

    Does British, U.S. citizen mean anything anymore? Besides giving one work status?
    I mean go look at his facebook page, or twitter page. 95% of all comments are all from Pakistani's. Not one caucasian, British person.

    Its true that Britain provided him the environment to flourish, but it was also his roots and talent which come from Pakistan.

    I wouldn't fight Floyd Mayweather yet. I think he needs more experience vs. other good fighters. Bradley, Alexander, Morales.....

    Hey ppl let them (Pakistanies) enjoy for a while on this win of Amir Khan even if he was born and brought up in UK...His parents and Grand Parents are still Pakistan born so obviuosly he has some connection to this land....

    Dont you ppl be so kunjoos and selfish...Pakistanies who often have to face depressing situations these days need such little celebrations!

    There are many like him living in Lyari... No one will know about their talent. Remember Great Hussein shah? where is he ? what we have done to such a good boxer.?
