An open letter to Obama

US President Barack Obama confirms to have carried out drone strikes inside Pakistan. This has been a rather strange public acknowledgement of a 'worst kept secret.'

President Obama! I want to ask you a few questions

In your Google + hangout, you claimed that drones had "not caused a huge number of civilian casualties", That means, you do admit a less number of civilian casualties.
Is it lawful to kill any civilian?
Is it lawful to eliminate any person without booking him first and listening to that person's account in any court of law?
On a number of occasions, like on 17th March 2011, your drones struck a peaceful gathering of tribal elders. It killed 40 innocent civilians. How do you explain that?
How can you validate deaths of 16 year old Tariq and his 12 year old cousin Waheed in a drone strike.
US officials substantiating drone attacks on media have following things to say
    drones target 'suspected' militants
drones strike men who are 'believed' to be terrorists
How can you kill anyone on the basis of suspicions, or beliefs?
Is it lawful to infringe sovereignty of any country?
If it is lawful, than do you give the same right to the other country.
If you invade other countries because you 'believe' they are planning to invade your country, then do you also give them the right to carry out preemptive strikes?
Mr. President! hanging out on Google + and answering selected questions is pretty cool, but please answer my questions before carrying out any other drone strike inside Pakistan.

    Dear Mr. Mahmood,

You are very funny. Instead of writing letters to me, please ask your Sipah Salaar to shoot down the drone. I am the president of USA. All my actions are supposedly in the best interest of USA. I do not give a damn about Pakistan and its people. Yes, we do some lip service, but that's just part of the job.

So next time, write a letter to your military commanders and do not waste my time again.

    Signed,
    Obama :)

You are lucky President of USA (despite his very busy schedule) has responded to your letter in a very clear tone and his letter makes sense to me and to entire Pakistani awam.

We are a begharat/besharm nation; in the 80's during the days of Afghan Fasad Soviet planes used to bomb our tribal areas causing deaths and injuries; now American plannes are doing the same. When I questioned Soviet bombing, my friends, relatives and even one of my university professors supported Afghan Fasad and told me dead are shaheed and injured are Ghazi of Islam. After analysing our unjustified involvement in American war of defeating Soviets in the 80's, I made a prediction and the prediction was "One day whole world will bomb us".

There is advice for you; do not write letter to US President again.

The attacks on Pakistani check-post and Abbotabad incident are enough to prove that our army is itself helpless and defenceless. Shooting down of any drones will be followed by attacks similar to that of the check-post. The 70% national budget spent on army are utilized for unproductive applications. There are no expenditures for research & development of modern weaponry.

What do you think is our biggest weapon?

In my view, it is educating entire nation with good quality education, vocational training and top class universities.

Shame on you. Are you calling 7 Series BMWs and 10 Crore Bunglows 'unproductive'.

Also, in a small print news item i saw somewhere, PM on the recommendation of Nargis Sethi has resumed the Batman service for commissioned officers. Now the officers will not have to worry about menial tasks like polishing their own boots and instead focus on important things like game of golf. Is this unproductive?
