What a joke this has been!! The so-called anti-feudal party is now the one desperately trying to save a feudal from public wrath. Just to refresh the memories of the readers that this was the same party that nominated Zardari's name for President.

Jagirdaron ke asal "kammi kameen" tu yeh doghle loge hain jo har bure waqt mein in jagir daron ke kaam aate rahe hain aur in jagir daron ke joote chatne mein sab se agay hote hain.

MQM to hold pro-Zardari rally on Sunday

KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has decided to hold a rally here on Sunday in protest against the use of derogatory language against President Asif Ali Zardari by leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-N during a public meeting in Lahore on Friday.

The decision was taken by the MQM coordination committee at an emergency meeting held on Friday evening.

The meeting decided that a rally would be held on Sunday at Tibet Centre on M.A. Jinnah Road to express solidarity with the president.

Speaking to participants of the meeting, MQM chief Altaf Hussain condemned the use of derogatory language against President Zardari by Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and other speakers.

In a statement, the MQM chief said that the derogatory language could also harm the integrity of the country.

MQM is anti-feudal only in papers, rest of the time either they are in bed with Military generals or with the feudals...

MQM is neither secular nor anti-feudals. sab drama hai.

recently they wanted to charge zulfiqar mirza with blasphemy laws and they are in power sitting with Jageerdars without getting any reforms done.

they are more interested in power game and ministries.

One thing i am wondering, what is more disturbing or embarrassing for PPP loyalists, ridiculed by opposition party or a rally in support of Zardari by MQM???

I think he is doing all this at zardari orders to get some gains in karachi and get release of criminals like PAHARI and others.

MQM is also an unprincipled party like any other political party. Every party claims to be different from other ones, but they all are unfortunately closely similar ones ;if not same ones.

This thread reflects moral values of Nawaz tola. Logic and decency has nothing to do with them. They should just pray that Jiyalas dont come to answer them on streets. They wont find hide outs.

There is no political party that works on any concrete and principled agenda. They change their directions as per the political tide. The most expert politicians in changing directions is Fazal Ur Rehman. He gets benefited in all regimes. MQM seems to be working on the similar tracks of Fazal Ur Rehman.

I think you should be more precise. Maybe you meant:

"They change their directions as per the $$$$$$ tide"

I have often heard MQM leader (rightly) speak against the existing feudal system and against nepotism, so I am puzzled by Altaf's call for a rally in support of PPP and Zardari.

Feudals and Nepotists don't come in purer forms than Zaradari and Co.? Could it just be that MQM hates PML-N more than PPP? Or is there a different reason

I just want someone to explain this politely without insults and abuse to anyone or any party. It is not a loaded question so just rational replies would be nice.

    Thanks.

In my opinion there is no "anti" to anything party in our Pakistan. All parties are "pro" opportunity parties. And I mean all

The reason is simple....Establishment is supporting Zardari and does not like Sharifs. That is why they are supporting PTI in Punjab and having MQM and PML Q support Zardari at present time.
    It is all a game.

Why is the establishment supporting PPP?

Why is the establishment against PML?

    Interesting tweet:

In 2007 MQM did a rally in Mush's support and he was ousted. Now they're doing in AZ's support- interesting!

I think politics has become a dirty word in Pakistan.

Not many from the professional working class will ever consider sending their children into politics for the fear of the filth that is associated with politics as it stands. It is only professional politicians that like their children (incompetent, illiterate, corrupt --- anything goes) into their ancestral profession. Being a professional politician is synonymous with lacking the competence, desire and qualifications to get a proper job.

Here is the odd bit, the people they repress and neglect the most are the ones who vote for them (allegedly).

Do Pakistanis deserve what everything that comes their way?

This extortionist mafia called MQM has nothing to do with the common people. Their slogans of anti-feudalism is a big farce. Time and again they have aligned themselves with these feudals. They have a proven history of siding with dictators and despots against the public wishes.

On 12th May 2007 they took a side of the dictator against the wishes of public and see what happend to that coward. Now history is repeating itself once again. Today these middle classias are coming out to support another despot who is equally hated by the general public.

  34. According to Allama Farzeen o Piyadah are fighting with each other whereas shatir is smiling on their cunning moves.

    Siasat

Iss Khail Mein Taeyayeen-e-Maratib Hai Zaroori
Shatir Ki Anayat Se Tu Farzeen, Mein Piyada

Bechara Piyada To Hai Ek Mohra-e-Na-Cheez
Farzeen Se Bhi Poshida Hai Shatir Ka Irada!
