ARTICLE 242.....

(12 posts)
  1. Can an article of the DEAD Constitution Protect the head of state if he is considered corrupt by courts? Article 242 stated that no "Criminal" cases can be brought forward against the President and Governor but does corruption in civil matters like Polo Ground reference, Taking Bribes and kickbacks can be trailed in CIVILIAN COURTS?

Also under this constitution a president and a killer Governor are protected but what about the rights of an ordinary Pakistanis? Why do we have to bear a corrupt President and a killer Governor ruling us? Are we so scarce to produce 2 people who can be the president and Governor?

Any Legal experts???? Can this Protection be challenged? Also if they get the protection, will they be arrested on the last day of their donkey ride or they will be given "Billi ka Raasta" the way we let Mussharaf leave Pakistan?

All of us speak of supremecy of law . One of the basic principle of law is :

'NOT GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN TO BE GUILTY'

Whats your take on to that ?

For those who are rulers and hold power the law is inverted and says that:

"You are guilty until proven innocent" look around globally and you will find this practice everywhere.

  7. Assalam-o-Alaikum-Warahmat-ULLAH ALL,

    Who cares about no-confidence thing, when;

    1) there is enough evidence available against Zardari sb. and his associates to convict them ALL through the court of law INSHALLAH ?

Once Zardari sb. and his associates get convicted through the court of law INSHALLAH, who will vote for them ? In-fact who will allow them to even stand up for elections in the next general elections after that ?

There would be a revolution if that happened since mass media is functioning in Pakistan right now.

    2) eligibility of presidency can be challenged in the court of law ?

From what I have seen in mass media, I know there is a mountain of evidence available to convict Zardari sb. and his associates.

    a) Saif-ur-Rahman sb. says he can reproduce ALL the evidence sent to Swiss courts

    b) Saif-ur-Rahman sb. says the Swiss courts have the evidence which was presented in Swiss courts. They can re-produce it anytime

    c) Saif-ur-Rahman sb. says if the court of law creates an independent fact finding commission which represents the court of law in Pakistan and sends it all over the world to find out Zardari sb.'s assets, everything would become crystal clear

    d) Then there is Talat Hussain, who mentioned a case study by US Govt. in his program just a couple of days ago. In that study 'Zardari Accounts' was discussed. That report was created by US Govt. which is completely impartial for Pakistan.

He hasn't been convicted in the past because people didn't want him to be convicted. But he will be INSHALLAH now. As the courts are about to re-start proceedings on the cases already filed in the court of law.

As soon as that happens, watch how the evidence surfaces and how Zardari sb. and his associates get convicted of ALL the heinous crimes they committed against Pakistan and its people.

We the people of Pakistan, just need to use our common sense more often.

The ambassador from London who went to Switzerland to collect ALL the evidence so that evidence could never reach the Swiss courts, was one of the NRO beneficiaries. Isn't it obvious he would be worried about himself and would be working on Zardari's orders as well ?

  8. Assalam-o-Alaikum-Warahmat-ULLAH ALL,

Why would Pakistan approach interpol to arrest Saif-ur-Rahman within 24 hrs of Saif-ur-Rahman's claim on Mere Mutabiq dated 14-Dec-2009, that he has copies of ALL the evidence he filed in Swiss courts against Zardari sb. and his associates.

He also said he has evidence against Gen. Musharraf for the $10 million episode.

What does common sense say ?

No confidence vote is completely out of question. The most probable thing is that Mr. Zardari may resign from his office, and immediately fly to Dubai. Because the moment he will out of office, he will not be able to enjoy the so called immunity under section 248. Today NAB stated they have added in ECL all names of NRO beneficiaries except Mr. Zardari.

But you have to admit that these people are "Dhataai ki had tak beysharam"..

Some thing is desperately needed by Americans to install/support their puppet. Something to divert attention from Chief Justice, I wouldn't be surprised if a controlled Kargil happens from Indian side...

They are going to do something... will not digest this pill so easily... King Makers are pondering...

Please educate us more on Innocent until proven guilty. The subject personality is Asif Ali Zardari. Please share your knowledge with us on his swiss cases. Is he convicted there or not?

Secondly he has already accepted the possession of surrey palace but i dont know if he has told how he had transferred that money to buy that palace or if he has paid some tax on that money? Same is also true with the swiss money.
