    I have listened to this profound exposition of the meaning of Pakistan and the greatness of the Quaid-e-Azam by our incomparable writer and pure soul Ashfaq Ahmed in the past. I listened to it again with the same joy mingled with a touch of sorrow. Not one syllable did he utter which did not go straight to the heart, not one word which did not go straight to the truth of the purpose for which Pakistan was created. To give and not to take.

    If we could have just emulated the ethics of Jinnah- Pakistan would be a great place to-day.

    Yes, shimatoree. But the thing is we can improve and do better. We must simply try harder and leave the rest to God. If not in our own lifetime, then in that of the younger generation at least, this country will finally become a place of decency and justice as at the time of its founding.
