Babar Awan Indicted Dacoity, Kidnapping Case

    RAWALPINDI: A local court of Rawalpindi has indicted federal law minister Babar Awan in an attempt of kidnap and dacoity case, Geo News reported on Saturday.

    Civil Judge Rawalpindi while hearing a pending case of kidnap and dacoity registered at New Town police station charged the minister and adjourned the hearing till March 12.

    Federal Minister Babar Awan was also present at the time of hearing

    Of course Zardari is not happy and is calling it "political victimisation" (strange, since it is Zardari/Awan's party that is in power) :)

    Of course nothing will come out of it even if the charges are valid and all the evidence exists. Another "truck ki batti"??

    A very old case when babar awan was a small guy, but now he is right hand man of zardari and can get presidential pardon-

    This can be the work of the agencies because PML-N has been assured that they will not be bothered in Punjab. However, it can be a possibility that PML-N might be playing a double game.

    I was thinking it won't even come to presidential pardon. They brought the case up so that PPP can claim victimhood, Awan will be found not guilty and the old case taken care of...sort of killing two birds with one stone.

    It seems that Baber has been a rogue since his teens. They should also investigate him for corruption and fake doctorate degree.

    Though, it will be hard for Pipliyas to bear the agony of their favourite angry cat, but imagine how the rest of nation will feel relieved.
