Pretty comic. Women are segregated in Saudi but when they need to buy personal stuff like Bras then only men will serve them.

    Still interesting documentary.

Protection for women in saudi is provided to the best..This is very simple philosiphy..You never raised this question when your women are buying bras from man server ,from years but you wana sad over saudi BA_HIJAAB women getting bras from male.
May be you wana bring saudi female to the market on the name of sale of bra.But you forget that saudi male is always with his women, saudi mother is always with her daughter...
Above all saudi govt gives that much protection that any salesman cannot even face any women in eye-to-eye contact due to the fear of being accused of teasing and kicking out of saudi.
Any women if wants herself some contact can do so if desires but man always will refuse many times unless sure abt her........
Try take care of your be-hijab women from where they buy bras and leave saudi women they are extremely in safe hands......

okay, you are highlighting good protective side of their culture... thats good.

but do you know what saudi women usually wear under their burqa and at home? they are so desperate that they cant wait to get on their webcams. and there is so much stuff that happens under the table you dont even know lol

plus they leave their children to indonesian maids and dont give them good upbringing, they are so lazy. there is a hypoctritic element in this topic it can never be black and white.

I have spent good time in KSA. I have yet to see face of a Saudi lady.

All you see is Asians without the veil but they too cannot abandon the burqa.

What is under the burqa is as lame an argument as, what is under the shalwar.

I mean you would die watching black ninjas everywhere. Trying to spot hypocrisy is a futile attempt. If you compare things with Pakistan, the malls of Karachi and Lahore are the beaches of Hawai in comparison.

The grip is tight and that is what matters. Sections of the youth will always be rougue and vulgar. In Pakistan there is no control.

As for the garments in question. They're usually available in a ladies section of the mall where there is no helper. You choose'em, take them to the counter and make the payment.

There is one more thing that I find in the double standards of Saudis. Why do they have air hostesses in their national airline? Why don't they keep male hosts on Saudi Airline flights?

    Whats the point Khokhar?

The first picture is a cartoon and ure using it to someone elses advantage. If you had a real picture of this sort u wouldv made some sense.

And the second picture is better than shooting bikini clad women on the beaches anyday.

    @Khokar,
Even though I personally don't like Burka, it doesn't give me a right to ridicule those, who believe in it, only a stupid western mind can show disrespect to such traditions!

Personally I don't think its segregation. It’s simply oppression. Oppress various groups under various pretexts. Women under excuse of segregation, others due to wrong beliefs or wrong religion altogether. Something we have acquired from Saudis over years too. Taliban now think everyone is wrong including Maulana Diesel.

I think FG makes a good point here as I myself have known quite a few Qadiani families, who adopted the same code of dress. Perhaps the situation is different today and it's abandoned altogather, only our Qadiani friends can enrich us by explaining!

  14. Our Qadiani friends should better further explain on Faith and Religion.
Further attempts to post religious topics on Discuss will result as a ban on the offending member.

  15. This is just a ridiculous thread and more stupid arguments from Quaidkamazar and Mr Kokhar.... I think sufisoul and rest have explained it very well.

@yahya: In your religious gatherings do you practice segregation among sexes or you pray in same hall man and women shoulder to shoulder?
