Zulifqar Mirza want to destroy his own credibility. Everybody know that MQM is big obstacle against this kind of action. Then he have to give up.

Nobody should concern against this kind of operations or missions, but if they going to start and stop, again and again because of MQM, then it will loose credibility of relevant forces. That will make even stronger to these Bhathakors.
But at this stage, at least we can give credit for his good intentions.

Bhatta khori is cowardice....Badmash (social outcasts) thrive on bhatta khori...you might have heard:

Badmash ki Badmashi tub tk hai jb tk koi us key samney na khara ho jaey.

Our aj tk jitney bhi nami grami badmash hoey hain un ko mamooli insanoon nain kaifer-e-kirdar tk phunchaeya hai.

Choro Bhatta khori our seedhey ho jao...is what Zulfiqar Mirza is saying...simple.

Hamare laog ajeeb hain. Pehle apne muashre ko ghalat loago'n ke havale karte hain. Phir jab ye loag la-qanooniyat phailate hain to shor machate hain. Phir bhatta khori aam hone par us ke liye jawaz pesh karte hain.

Aur ghalat kaam ko sahi baat prove karte hain.

I fully support this move. I hope he really does clear bhattakhors from Karachi and the rest of sindh. Clean-out in Lyari, sarabh ghot, kati pahari are long over-due.

The only action I know of Zulfi Mirza is when he assists Billu Bhutto in selecting "kinnos" on a rehri at Larkana. shabash wafadaar saein!

an old age tussle between PPP and MQM is very natural ...
as MQM was made to over shadow PPP ...
now Sindh has been divided into two parties .
rural Sindh ruled by PPP and Urban sindh ruled by MQM .

but a natural rivalry does exist amongst the said two parties .and despite the fact ;that both has to take help of each other in persuasion of the power throne ,but their jealousy to each other has to show up one way or the other ...

PPP workers and members hates MQM .
MQM workers and members hates PPP.

they burn each other's flags .
they kill each other's workers .

now game is on ...
Zulfiqar Mirza is a staunch hater of MQM .
supported and backed by Qaim Ali Shah ,chief Minister Sindh and another hater of MQM ...

so MQM has to be careful ...
maybe they should stop Bhatta mission for a while ...

if they are not afraid that their leader will die of hunger on a London foot path ,if they doesn't sent bhatta money to him...

Zulfiqar Mirza is talking about bhatta khori including kidnappings for ransom and for that many factions are involved in Karachi. Not just MQM, there are others too. Zulfiqar Mirza means all as he has not particularly singled out anyone.

He had made such hollow claims before, but I don't think he has the guts to confront MQM terrorists, Aik 'rabta committee' ki meeting ki maar hai yeh...

Actually Bhatta Khori is a national disease. In Punjab it is more prevalent. Local badmash in Gujjranwala, Faisalabad, Sialkot live on ransom. The other day, the driver brother of a mango seller got abducted in Sadiqabad by few folks, asking 200,000 in ransom. The Pajero had a GPS so they left it, but got the driver who belongs to a poor family. The Pajero owner won't bail out his driver. The mango seller kept asking people for help.

I don't think bhatta khori is 'more prevalent' in Punjab, or maybe I am just not aware of it. But at least no city of Punjab is besieged by a terrorist organization, like Karachi is.

Double the population of Pashtuns of Peshawer lives in Karachi, if they feel besieged in Karachi, then should leave to Peshawer where they may feel more liberated when surrounded by the Taliban.

Are you proud to be represented at the international forum by govt. of a country made up of a terrorist party?

Well! What more proof do you need that Karachi is besieged by terrorists when target killing is a day to day issue and the provincial government along with the federal government can do nothing about it, when those who do not comply with the demands of the local administration are found as 'bori band lash', when media is afraid to even talk about them because of the fear of getting killed, etc...

And it's not only pashtuns who feel subdued in karachi, but that includes muhajirs as well. And just because they do not migrate to other cities, doesn't mean they're happy, or does it?

You are running away from your earlier stance.

You had started off by pin pointing a specific party about some sort of besiegement [bhatta khori and terrorism], now you address a general problem of target killing in Karachi which cannot be labeled on one group by any standard. Target killing too is prevalent in all Pakistan. Balcohistan, BB death in Pindi, Lahore attacks and shooting attempt of Shaikh Rasheed are prime examples. I again accentuate that the profile you have been associating on a particular city and a party actually exists all over Pakistan. Similarly, Pashtuns killing each other in tribal warfare does not make the headlines, but when army kills them, it is a grievous fault. So, the problems of Pakistani need a generic solution, they cannot be solved for a particular time in a particular region, mired by who heads the government and what relationship the govt has with the region.

Second ppint. The Mohajirs feel empowered by MQM, because they can voice and pull the strings of the govt. with their representation. For twenty years they have voted everyone out of Karachi but MQM, irrespective of the govt. stance and army operations. It is clear that no political or military govt. can ever run Pakistan without the asheerwad of MQM.

I must conform to CoC, the thread is related to Zulfi Mirza. The champion of rooting out city of it's menace, himself is a patron and sponsor (Nabil Gabol too) of well known dacoits of Sindh who take sanctuary in Lyari. He essentially heads PPP's militant wing. But I think you should trust him for he may be a far lesser evil to you than the one you are irked by. Who cares if his "ghairat mund bha, shaheed muhtarma ja ghairatmund wer" flushes down the down country after five years of commoding on it, the needle is worth worrying, the heavy guns, we gotta a lifespan to deal with.
