What promise? Talk is cheap and you get impressed easy...let him do something practical before getting too impressed.

Bilawal is another future card for neo colonialistic masters. Please note that the West grooms and breeds traitors that they can use in future just in case.

Remember as soon as the Iranian protest started they got the son of late Shah of Iran in mainstream media. That son of a tyrant was acting as if he cared for Iranian people. He started weeping and shedding crocodile tears in front of camera and gave a speech supporting the protestors and blaming regime for mass murder. He conveniently forgot that his late father and his dreaded secret police Savak had tortured and killed hundreds of thousands of Iranians.

Karzai was groomed in US and used when the time came to install puppets. Same for most of other Muslim countries. West has plenty of these parasites that are harbored, patronised and groomed for their own vested interests and so called new Pakistan get impressed so easily.

My parents took me away when I was young and could not keep up with that. For me Islam is solution for all evils in Pakistan and elsewhere. I don't believe in geopgraphical boundaries. Muslim hai hum watan hai sara jehan hamara

    G A BHUTTO!!!!

    nicely done!

I'd have loved to see him talk Sindhi instead of english but it might work well with our nation. We are still
kho-e-ghulami and like to see our leaders who are different from us.

I am also disappointed to see him as the chairman of PPP. They should have taken a different course by appointing him at a lower position and moving him up gradually through the ranks but at the time of BB shahadat that was really the only option left.

I see both Bhutto shaheed and BB shaheed in his speech.

You hate people who gave their life for Pakistan but you love people who signed maafi nama and ran away hiding in their shalwars. The same people did'nt have balls to come back but came back after BB cleared the way for them and the same chickens today accuse BB of cutting deals with Musharraf. How ghatya and cheap one has to be to make such accusations. Only a person who eats siri paaey in breakfast can do such a thing.

Shaheed word has been abused by so many. Recently the Turkish Colonel was killed in Afghanistan and the Turkish media hailed him as Shaheed, although he was helping colonialistic occupiers and oppressors. The Turks have historical reference to shaheed and they use it blindly. The Indians are using the word Shaheed for all their "martyrs" as there is no word in their vocabulary to define a martyr.

Shaheed is a sacred sacrifice of ones life for the Supreme Creator and not for a nation. Nationalism is alien to the spirit of Islam and hence anyone dying for a country is not Shaheed unless that country is a genuine Islamic State based on Quran and Hadith.

Again as Allama said: Nationalism is a new idol in the temple.

  40. In Pakistan, candidates are born. As ever, the top up-and-coming politicians are coming from Pakistan’s classic dynasties with Moonis Elahi, son of Pervaiz Elahi, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif, son of Shahbaz Sharif and nephew of Nawaz. And of course, there is Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, son of Benazir Bhutto.

All three are Western-educated political scions hoping to change Pakistan’s corrupt system. 'People say, 'This is the way things are done in Pakistan, Is Democracy a family affair?

No, not at all. Thats why I am disappointed by his "appointment" as Chairman bur probably for party's own internal reasons this was the only option left. In all cases, I disagree with him becoming party chairman. Aitezaaz Ahsan could have been a much much better choice. For the other names you mentioned, I say
    Moonis who?
    Hamza who??

"Again as Allama said: Nationalism is a new idol in the temple."

Allama also said "din-e-mullah fee sabeelillah fasad" plus Allama was no fan of democracy and his views on democracy were more in line with Sufi Muhammad's.

Why did she live a luxrious life abroad in self exile if she cared for her ppl??

Why did she go back to Pakistan when it was election time?

She only liked to live in Pakistan when in power otherwise life abroad was dandy. What does that tell you???

Tom that's a characteristic of and extremely selfish and power hungry person. How in the world can she be a shaheed?

*This is going to be a lengthy post, but please read it all*

I dont know what to say. These accusations have been repeated a million times and have been responded a million times as well but

    jo rang rangya boordha rangya!

The disinformation campaign has affected us all.

A rich person cant be a martyer? did she suddenly become rich? was she not born in a rich family?

Was she not living in Pakistan when Nawaz Sharif was Prime Minister? Did her own husband not spend a decade in jail? Did she not have to live without her husband for the most part of her married life? What could have stopped her from signing a maafi nama and gotten her husband out of the jail?

Did she not return to Pakistan knowing there are extreme threats against her life? did she not know everyone is after her to kill her? Was Karachi bombing not enough to make her realize the threats are for real? She was supposed to become Prime Minister even if she had returned after the elections but did she not return before elections? Did she not negotiate her way and everyone else's way back to Pakistan? instead of confrontation she negotiated her way back. How can you say she would'nt have kicked musharraf out once she was in power?

    Did she not say
"woh chahtay hamara parcham naa swat mein rahay naa malakand mein rahay"
    Was she wrong?
She said that on her return. you tell me, was she wrong at that time? Were Swat and malakand issues even on the national horizon at that time? How could giving such a statement while knowing they are all after her, made her a merely power-hungry, corrupt politician? Did she say that just to appease American? do we not all know today those Talibans wanted to break Pakistan? Please note, no other national politician said a word against militant until they were 100% sure military is finally going after them

What kind of money anyone could imagine to make out of Pakistan at that time? Do you really think she did all that for money and power??? do you really think she returned to Pakistan in the face of soo many real threats to her own life just to make money and be in power?

Look, there are two kind of mentalities in Pakistani politics.
First political mentality is based on the "state" of Pakistan, the other is based on the "people" of Pakistan.

Poltics ran for the "state of Pakistan" carry rhetorical, emotional tone and they just can not understand the politics driven for "people of Pakistan" because in many cases they are essentially conflicting. For example, "state" politics would say Pakistan cant give in to India so we should always confront India militarily. On the other hand, politics ran for the "people" of Pakistan would say we can import cheap goods from India and export to a very huge Indian market. Such politics will also say, we just cant afford to spend billions on military so we should reduce animosities and number of enemies. For a "state" politicial this is outright ghaddari.

Since "state" politics is very rhetorical and emotional, people buy into it. Such "state" politicians are backed by "state" institutions and powers and they always run personal propoganda against "people" politicians.

I refuse to blieve that BB laid her life so she could become Prime Minister and make a lot of money. She did that for the "people" of Pakistan.
