LAHORE: Another (fourth) blast has rocked Iqbal Town in Lahore, Geo News reported Friday.

Total 4 attacks in Lahore. This is the latest.

The third blast had 5 consecutive bomb attacks.

Pakistani people should find out what their Govt. + Army is up to and stop! it.

DAWN News: Taliban leader threatens to resume attacks on troops

TANK: Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan leader Maulvi Faqir Mohammad threatened on Thursday to resume attacks on security forces in Bajaur if the government did not stop the operation in the region

“We abdicated our positions and chose not to fight with security forces following an understanding that our people will not be harmed. But the government appears to be continuing with its repressive policies.

“We will have no other option but to resume our attacks if such policies are not reversed,” Faqir Mohammad said in a telephone call to Dawn.

Looks like Pak Army is continuing the killing even after they have made pacts with militants for cease fire.

Well, when Pak Army violates pacts for stopping violence, then why do Pakistani people think Army has a principled stand ?

Jamat Islami has to answer alot for this series of attacks on innocent people. Jamat openly supports talibans and other extremist groups and provide them logical and financial support. Because their local network is supported by JI, such groups get strength and attack innocent people.

@Sweettruth: Jamaat does not! support terrorists, criminals. JI does not! believe in attacking innocent people.

Jamaat does not! have anything to do with this.

I am discussing matters. That is not a crime.

These bomb attacks, suicide attacks, targeted killings are a result of what has been going on between people of FATA and Pakistan Army/Govt.

JI has nothing! to do with it.

@achtung: Look past your stupid attitude of getting revenge. Think with your ALLAH gifted brain!, not with your emotions.

Look at what is going on with people in reality. These bomb attacks are results of some other factors.

If Pak Army, Pak Govt. were on a just path, if their efforts were benevolent, if they were trying to establish peace/justice, you would see that coming out as a result. That is not what is happening in reality. Violence has increased. Bomb attacks, Suicide attacks have increased.

The increase in violence should show you, that those governing over us are adopting the wrong policies. They are on the wrong path.

Impartial, across the board, FAST!, non-discriminatory justice that obeys Islam will put a stop to these bomb attacks, suicide attacks, targeted killings.

Mr. Rehman Malik sb. is not making these decisions. Army, Mr. Zardari are making decisions. They! are earning money for it, in shape of;

(1) CSF (Coalition Support Fund)
(2) Kerry Lugar Aid Act

from USA/Nato and their allies.

Mr. Rehman Malik is just another one of those who is profiting from treason with Pakistan, Pakistani people, rather than getting punished for his crimes, his treason.

LAHORE: After the deadly twin suicide attacks in Lahore Cantonment that killed 39 and injured about a 100. Lahore’s Moon Market has witnessed five low intensity blasts within an hour of each other. One person has also been taken into custody from the area.

Looks like;

(1) either its a foreign enemy of Pakistan, who wants to destabilize Pakistan, who wants to show the world that;

Pakistan is unstable, let's take out their nuclear weapons

(2) or its people of FATA who are giving Pak Army the message -> if you can collude with foreign powers, earn money from them to kill our innocent people, we will do the same to yours

Take your pick.

In either case, it is;

(a) continued wrong-doings of Pakistan's Army, Pakistan Govt.
(b) lack of availability of impartial, across the board, FAST!, non-discriminatory justice to common man of Pakistan

which has resulted in bringing this day to Pakistan.

(1) JI doesn't even like to talk about Pakistani Taliban

(2) JI has nothing to do with Pakistani Taliban

(3) JI considers Pakistani Taliban to be a creation of Pakistan Army

(4) JI thinks Pakistan Army should deal with the result of their wrong-doings. Why should anyone else have to deal with it ?

(5) JI only! talks about Afghani Taliban. JI only supports Afghani Taliban

I will still say, Pakistan Army is digging a hole for Pakistan to die in;

(1) by fighting American war on terror in Pakistan, against people of FATA, NWFP

by killing its own innocent people in FATA, NWFP, for $$$

(a) People of FATA, NWFP were going to Afghanistan to help their relatives in fighting against USA/Nato and their allies

(b) USA/Nato gave Pakistan $$$ (Army + Govt.) to kill those people of FATA, NWFP, so they would not be able to go to Afghanistan to fight USA/Nato

(c) so people of FATA, NWFP will become busy in fighting with Pak Army

Of-course this will make Pakistan unstable.

If Pakistan becomes unstable, USA will shout to the entire world, that

look, Pakistan is unstable. Let's take out their nuclear weapons

Pak Army and its higher ups, in their lust for $$$, they are falling into this trap set by USA/Nato.

@achtung: (1) I myself think JI should not have taken part in these by-polls, after it decided to stay away from general elections in Feb, 2008.

The negative vote in these by-polls could be a reminder of this fact, rather than a general discontent with JI over its talk on Pakistani Taliban issue.

(2) Well, you reject the idea of justice for common man in Pakistan. That means, you are not smart.

Any country, any nation, any civilization that comes to RISE or FALL is because of its justice system.

Justice is the BASE on which countries, nations, civilization stand up. If that base is taken away, then they fall down.

This could be a last ditch effort by Taliban to avenge the recent capture of their top leadership.They have to be really frustrated to kill so many innocent women and children
People who support them should be ashamed of themselves and if they have any conscious should try to kill themselves.

Munawar Hasan already knows its Blackwater even when the bombs are not finished. Only way he could know so soon is if he is involved directly.

Its strange. Those who conducted blasts in Iqbal Town, Moon Market, Lahore, forgot to kill anyone.

This doesn't make sense. That is not what terrorists do. Terrorists go for maximum impact. They try to inflict maximum damage to their enemy.

(Pardon the cynicism in these words) There was no loss of life in these blasts.

How should an intelligent citizen look at it ?

The only loss of life was in 'aray-bazar' incident today, where 2 suicide bombers hit Army personnel or Army convoy.

This makes me think, these incidents were precipitated by two different kind or groups of people.

The first incident in Iqbal town, Lahore, was from Mr. Rehman Malik.

I/We suspect Mr. Rehman Malik works for USA. That means, if he has to be paid by USA, he has to precipitate these incidents in Pakistan in a timely fashion, that would show to the rest of the world, that Pakistan is a destabilized country.

The second incident in 'aray-bazar' was by those who had grievances against Pak Army. Which could;

(a) be people of FATA, NWFP
(b) also be foreign powers

who are trying to show the entire world that Pakistan is a destabilized country, to convince world opinion to give them the go ahead to -> take out Pakistan's nukes

Take your pick.

Idle speculation has a funny way of destroying people. I should stop.

Moral values add to a character of an individual and such individuals in turn into a nation withholding moral values. Justice system is part of a nation. When character loopholes develop into a person at the expense of his moral values it snowballs affecting/influencing others. As a result the whole nation is affected including judiciary!

First two blasts were terrorist attacks by suicide bombers. Later blasts that followed could have been committed by politically motivated group/s not happy with Sharifs and Rana Sanaullah!

When a nation's Govt. + Army is loyal to them, they don't have any reason to commit suicide.

The world around us today, isn't as rosy as we are made to think it is, is it ?

If army was providing justice to people of Pakistan it would arrest and execute all terrorist. These people need to be arrested, tried and hanged. Pakistan needs justice.
