I sent my (Pakistani national) assistant to the Chinese Consulate today to attain a Chinese visa. He was told at the Consulate that China is no longer issuing visit visas to Pakistanis?

Am I a bit lost here? I thought we had good relations with China? What happened?

Sino-Pak Friendship is one subject where as visa process is another subject.

Tell your assistant to apply for business visa, of course you would need an invitation letter and submit original with application, the visa fee is quite cheap for Pakistan and that is because of the friendship ;)

Nowhere in the world there is respect for the green passport - not even amongst friends, where friendship is "higher than the Himalayas". Anyways it's our own fault that there is no respect for the green passport.

It is 'all' about visas and trade barriers.

Pakistanis can travel to all SAARC countries (except for India) w/o any visas.

What good is a friend if he doesnt like you visiting his home?

SAARC is just a joke, who would want to go to countries poorer than Pakistan?

    Afghanistan
    Nepal
    Bangladesh
    Bhutan
    Maldives
    Sri Lanka

China visa is quite easy for Pakistanis, if they don't scan travellers then half of Pakistan would end up in China :)

Still their visa policy is very soft for Pakistan comparing with India or US or UK etc.

  7. World including China is seriously thinking what kind of Pakistani citizens are when they were glorifying Mumtaz Qadri, the killer of their Governor in the national capital, showering him with rose petals and demanding his release. Whole world is deeply worried about us where suicide bombers of taliban mafia are glorified. Due to fast growing extremism and intolerance in our country, I suspect one day every country in the world will stop issuing visas to Pakistani citizens.

That's not a benchmark because the biggest terrorist mafia is the "US" itself, which has killed many millions all over the world but still they get visa from all countries in the world.

You too do not like to listen to truth, watch truth or even talk about truth. Your head is also in the sand like lota. Get your head out of the sand to face realities.

    @aftab

According to you US citizens can easily get visas of anywhere. Think about it why??

Over 200 countries of the world do not think they are terrorists but Pakistani passport holders struggle to get visas and treated with suspicion at many international airports.

Because they are the super power Economically, Militarily and Diplomatically. Most of the countries don't care if they the "US" have killed millions of people or not.

So what is the bottomline here? But most countries think otherwise and they gladly issue visa to US citizens. We have problems as our citizens do not get visa. Imagine one day Somalia rejecting our citizen's visa application. I think our country is heading in that direction and our fasadi molvis and Right wing media are responsible for this.

That's just a convenient excuse, the world does not get care if people are killed or not, they only care about they economic interests, military interests in some cases and others well they are not given a choice.

You are not living in real world. Please get out of your fantasy world and see ground realities. Stop bashing USA and try to become better than USA. Bashing Americans is now a fashion in Pakistan. Obama is not responsible for the floods. For God sake, open your eyes and ears and accept responsibility for your own actions.
This thread is about China now rejecting visa applications to Pakistani citizens. Think why is it happening? Who is responsible for this?

    @ Meray Bhai Sweettruth

China is not rejecting Pakistanis, my brother also applied for Chinese Business Visa and got in no problem as @Salam has already mentioned, it doesn't matter what Visa you use to get into China as long as you are allowed in.

The reason i am comparing US is because, you said Fasadi Maulvis are giving us a bad name, sure some of them are but is that worse then killing millions of people?

So only businessmen can get China visa??? Pity! I cant get one. Thanks for admitting that fasadi molvis are giving bad name to Islam and Pakistan. For your kind information, I have been against US policies since the 80's when they came to Pakistan during Afghan fasad simply to add fuel to the fire.

It's not just Some Fasadi Maulvis, it's people across the spectrum that give a bad name to Pakistan ie just look at our current President, but bad people you know are all over the world so if that is the basis then it is not much of a moral high ground.

    You are spot on!

Zardari's reputation is poor; it is worst than any other Pakistani leadership.

  25. Agents and commission Sherwani sb, Find a (China Visa)agent in Blue Area Islamabad you can get China visa in $700 or you can join 1 month China tour in $100, yes you can apply for a business visa but you need a invitation letter from any Chinese company.

  26. I loved msohail's tongue-in-cheek comment: Fox News may have a job for you.

ST, with all due respect, you suggested somewhere above Pakistan should do better than the US. For heaven's sake, do not hold up US as a model of developement for the people of Pakistan. If we must have a model at all, China would be the better proposition. They pulled out of abject poverty a record number of their people in a record space of time.

And, ST, even in defence of US, do not, please, downplay their genocidal wars. That is surely not worthy of any honest person.
