Confrontation Loving Individuals....

    This is to talk about a situation at the forum.That most of the people waiting to have a moment start opposing a person or persons for long time.
    This behavior should be avoided as it KILLS talking about ideology here.
    We PAKISTANIS have to mantain the habits of positive discussion here to stop the forum bieng a fighting place.
    Kicking, smashing and hitting people here is just an imaginary thing and we should not use words to get that type of results.
    Its your duty to deviate a discussion into an ideological one,will help this forum more nice and accommodative.
    It is clear that people running towards face to face opposition and avoid ideological discussions.
    This is rather immature attitude and must be avoided.

    PEOPLE HAVING ART TO START NEW THREADS MUST ALSO TAKE CARE OF THIS ISSUE,AND ARE NEEDS TO START A DISCUSSION TOPIC HAVING SOME :INTELLECTUAL SITUATION: TO DEAL.THIS WILL HELP GREAT FOR THE REST OF THE PEOPLE TO GO IN A POSITIVE DIRECTION.
    FIGHT WITH INDIA WITH IDEOLOGY YOU BELIEVE,NO OTHER MEANS ARE POSSIBLE TO FIGHT WITH ENEMIES.

    Yes, I agree, and support the idea.

    Everyone has his opinion, and the others are requested to bear that opinion, if not then come with arguments rather than....

    that's the whole idea of this forum to discuss different political ,national and social issues and reach to a consensus ...if not than one convince other ,through arguments not through cursing .

    Let me point out One thing. In whole our educational system, there is a LACK of discussion. We in fact never been taught HOW to discuss things. How to discuss a discussion?
    Frankly saying YET I say this forum is NOT a discussion forum, it is a Catharsis forum where people just get rid of their emotions, they just throw things out, curse and disappear. A lot of responsibility is on Moderator and I am sorry, Moderator is NOT handling a discussion in proper way, instead she become a part of it and partial. You cannot play two roles at the same time.
    It is NOT necessary to come to a consensus, it is to wake thinkings, questions, curiousity, search-research, to widen the minds, to RE-Think own suppositions which are mostly,'Cut and Paste' in us. I often wonder, What is mine own? The mostly we say/write hare- IS it production of our own minds, or imposed, penetrated, pasted in our minds from outside?
    We are NOT ready to give a second thoughts to our pre-suppositions, by that we are NOT OPEN for any discussion.

    Agreed,by your views.
    During previous days in absence of Beenai we got another moderator:Redemption:and the Lang used in one of his post was something that can never be accepted at all from a moderator.
    Actually it's very technical point to turn a discussion into something very useful and many people can play a role in it.
    Again Raheb must be appreciated,a very nice analysis.

    This post and topic is very Important, but already been to back pages. It took time for me to search where it has gone.

    Problem is we have difficulty to differenciate between "Person" and "Function". If I confront with someone, people starts investigate who I am, instead of WHAT I am saying. It is NOT matter if you agree with someone or not, BUT to have a rethink without to invest energy and time WHO I am (you).

    Beenai should leave the post for someone else and take part as a person- it is NOT her function to involve aprtially in a discussion.

    just add this topic to ur favourite one to avoid probelm like that.
    I think beena is playing/should play a very technical rule here and by participating here she will be much able to keep the discussions on track,although a very tough job.
    Moderaters have certain limitations to go with in a very social manner manner.

    Nicely said Rehab. I guess the Pakistani educational system focuses more on what they term as "it will help you in your career" subjects like Maths, Econ, Physics etc and dont really teach subjects like Human relations, Public relations, or ethics as much. This is the reason behind people getting abusive/ intolerant on the smallest of debates/ disagreements on this forum and many other similar Pakistani forums.

    Thanks to sasherwani, skyfacts, shanaz (respectfully) first of all for understanding the point.
    Sasherwani touches the education system anr very rightly pointing out that what we read is just for "career", but what else such studies lead to? Knowledge (alim) should not be restricted to certain subject, it should widen my approach and thinking, it should lead to make me a better humen being, BUT sorrowfully I have to say that many many of these highly qualified people, carrying burdens of Big degrees are OFTEN completely non-impressive, that is what exactly Sasherwani pointing out that all such studies are for career, but implimentation of it on ownselves and on others.......?

    This forum suppose to carry quality, but NOT for me yet. Just see when 30-35 topics are actuall at the same time, it is Quantity, NOT Quality. How many of these topics have some qualitative discussion? I am afraid very few. Mostly things are Rumours (without carrying any fact) or Hate towards, persons, political parties, army and so on and on.
    What can one discuss about such sentimental throwings?

    Pakistanis are dealt with according to human psyche.Their emotions are borrowed and put it in personal interests of the ruling class.They are dumb and just living with the hope of may be some good earning tomorrow.
    Education system should have two qualities in it,to chase and equip you with ur carrier tools and secondly to be a good human being.
    Now to be a good human being ppl are made divided on this issue between extremists following strict religious rules and liberal so common Pakistani is in between the situation where to go.
    Look for the other societies of west they no doubt have a great efforts to get carrier education but value based study is missing their so they left with animals approach and they are animals in their living.
    People blindly advice to follow that culture will lead us to the same target which not acceptable.

    You are right that people over this forum chasing imaginary things and rumors all the time so the level of political awareness easily be observed.
    some months ago the situation was very serious at the forum regarding tolerance but it is quit calm now.....
    Third world countries and ppl have the same tendencies all the over the world.Even developed countries ppl can be misguided by a group of ruling class just like american ppl bin misguided about Iraq ans Afghan war reasons and still tactics are used to keep the ppl coll and calm their........so i think domestic and international situation from time to time is very much explained by the divine book and it helped me great to understand the situation rather than sitting before TV shows,a buisness.
