Consensus on New Provinces

    Its seems most parties are coming around to the notion that more provincial units are required for better administration of the country.

    What is encouraging is that parties like PML N & Q are also supporting such a move.

    Thoughts?

    mein samajhta hoon keh pakistan mein mazeed subay banney chahiyen aur wo bhi ethnic bunyad per. verna masala joon ka toon rahe ga, jaisa keh khyber pakhtoonkhwa mei hua. iss sey mulki yak jehi mazboot ho gi.

    I totally reject new provinces on ethnic lines. Our dirty ruling class can't even handle four provinces, how in the world they gonna handle 4+ provinces.

    In my opinion there's no harm in creating more provinces !
    I support

    Separate province for Saraikis consisting of South Punjab and Dera Ismail Khan !
    Separate province for Potoharis !
    Separate province for Pushtoons consisting of areas of Balochistan where Pushtoons are in majority !
    Separate province for Hazaras !
    Separate province for Urdu speaking people in Sindh consisting of Karachi and Hyderabad !

    i strongly reject this idea .
    as we have seen the most recent example of Khaber Pakhtunkhaw.
    admitting one community and giving them a particular identity ,will open up 10 more fronts ...10 more communities start feeling neglected and asking for their own identity to be recognized ....like Hazara province ...

    when we announce 6 provinces ,12 more communities will start asking for 12 more ...

    when we will divide Pakistan in 12 provinces .
    resources and income share, allocated to a single province will start shrinking ...and it will create a big mess again .
    your water resources are shrinking .
    your exchequer is getting empty .
    your flour and sugar mills are producing less .
    your currency is going down ...

    and u r talking about to have 6 to 7 more provinces .
    where Govt has badly failed to accommodate requirements of only 4 provinces .

    its just like
    a couple has 4 kids .
    breed earner lose the job and get a very small job to run the house .
    and at that point ,couple decides to go for 4 more kids ...

    isn't it funny ????
