    The main cause of crimes and disorders in Karachi is the availability of arms and ammunition. Gen. Zia hosted 3 million unwanted guests on the American billions. Half of those billions were spent and remaining half were pocked by JI, JUI and the army generals. The general public has to pay for those billions in shape of what we see in Karachi or Pakistan these days.

    کوئی حساب لگا کہ بتائے کہ کتنے سال بیت گئے ہمارے ایم کیوایم والوں کو کراچی پہ چھائے ہوئے؟ کتنے ایم این اے، ایم پی ایز ہیں اِن کے ؟ کتنے وزیراِن کے ؟ گورنر اِنکا۔ کتنے علاقے اِن کے تحت آتے ہیں اور کتنی وارداتیں اِن کے علاقوں میں ہوتی ہیں ؟ کیا کِسی کے کان پہ جوں رینگی ہے؟ سوائے مخالفین کے قتل اور بھتہ خوری کہ عوام کا درد بھی کوئی سمجھے گا؟

    مصطفی کمال نے اِک دفعہ کہا تھا یہ کراچی کا عوام بڑے اُلو کے پٹھے ہیں۔ اتنی وارداتیں اور پھر بھی قاتلوں اور بھتہ خوروں کی ہمدردی ۔۔ کہیں مصطفی کمال پتے کی بات تو نہیں کہہ گِیا؟

    Police can easily arrest mobile phone snatchers:
    By trapping them for snatching mobiles by disguising as civilian,having mobiles in their hand walking on streets and road ways and by monitoring with well prepared policemen for arresting the mobile phone snatcher.

    It is not on MQM to fight street crime though they do more than their fareshare. It is the responsibility of your eunuch Sindh Police with 1/3 of its whole force in the number of around 23,000 are stationed in Karachi and almost similar number of Sindh Rangers are also in Karachi. But for what, to get their 'due share' in all the criminal business, running their own minibuses and busses and shadi halls.

    Besides it is Zia's gift to the nation; Afghans as are being mentioned clearly in this report are responsible for it. It is the cancer of the society needs swift eradication.

    Streets crimes is 65% MQM's responsibility and 35% PPP's.

    Both parties have been ruling Sindh and KArachi for too long and there is no excuse for them.

    Whatever the reason; Zia policy or Afghan and other migrants, it is just beyond me how all this can happen for so long and so openly everywhere in the city.
