    @ghazi.

Rozi Roti. What Rozi Roti. It's funny you say that especially considering MQM has karachi shut every month to mourn their leaders.

Looking Forward to see people of karachi stand up for Pakistan on May 21st and 22nd.

Karachi is closed half the year so Gazi's rozi roti is surprising to me too.

ek maheenay ka tym tha Peshawar k baad. Dam a dam mast qalandar to hoga. Khan peechay hatno walo main say nai.

People will flock to Karachi, so I am not worrying abt the numbers.

My question however is, 2 days??

There is method to madness. next step is long march right when the debate on budget is happening and there are already reports of government increasing defense budget. People from Parachinar and teachers from KPK are already in Islamabad protesting. Three days ago there was a massive protest in gujar khan which led to people burning down a police station and killed two police officers.

Time for Dam a Dam Mast Qalanadar!

Looking forward to you, your friends and family stand up for pakistan on 21st and 22nd.

Political point scoring.... Doesn't your Altaf have the same opinion about the drone attacks ???

take it easy and have a big heart....why some karachiites are always afraid and scared of imran entering or arranging political gatherings there?....if poor ppl can bear the long boring and bollywood style telephonic lectures of Altaf Hussain then i think they shouldn't have any problem with immy's talks and speeches on national issues....

"My question however is, 2 days?? "

Actually 1 day (24 hrs, starts one day around noon, ends the next day around noon), same as Peshawar.

And what did it achieve? A US ground op, and a drone strike :)

I am sure "imperialism" is about to be defeated ;-)

BTW: Why won't he do a dharna outside parliament, presidency, or GHQ for they are the enablers??

    @ NOTA,

Are you blaming PTI for drone attack and military operation in abbotabad. Imran Khan and PTI are doing what they said they will do. Time for People of Pakistan and Pakistani Government to do their jobs and if they can't do that then they must go.

    @ NOTA.

Next step is in front of Parliament. Just be patient. We are still answering our critics that said why don't we stop the supplies where they come from. now PTI is stopping them from where they come. PTI will address the criticism of not doing a dharna in front of GHQ and parliament too.

with due respect and im sure i wont be attacked with voluminious anger....even if we believe for a while that the Abbottabad incident was a collaborative effort of US and Pak (Army,Government,Agencies) still i dont think so Imran khan who has always been very vocal on US atrocities not just in Pak but everywhere, has got anything to do with that operation....

Oh come on...Where am i suggesting that? You guys cannot see beyond "Is it an attack on IK"? "Must defend!"

Just calling it as I see it.

All I am saying is it is just a meaningless show by imran. He want's to be more effective with his dharna? Then he should be the places I mentioned (and no 24-hour ones too. They are meaningless and ineffective)

    @insaftak
"Are you blaming PTI for drone attack and military operation in abbotabad."
Oh please! Will you guys ever grow up???

Khan said the decisive move would be long march to Islamabad. I think these blockades will give PTI good match practice.

aao Imran Khan aao... Karachi aao... zaroor

very good. lekin Taliban ko jab tak tum daishadgard nahin kaho gayy, Karachi awam will not listen to you. you call MQM militant organization and dont say same about Taliban, with this mindset, you will never ever get mileage in Khi.

AlQaeda operatives have been caught in Karachi as well as Taliban leaders.... we Karachites are more serious about fighting terrorism than anywhere in Pakistan. I think to win Karachi, you have to speak through their mindset. otherwise you will only get the huuuuuge pushtoon population in your dharna.

yes MQM has same opinion on drone attacks. but MQM's psyche does not totally match with Imran Khan at all in totality. on many issues it does match, but not on all issues.

"BTW: Why won't he do a dharna outside parliament, presidency, or GHQ for they are the enablers??"

No doubt there is certain amount of awakening of the "sleeping" people and certain amount of politics too in these dharna actions. To achieve the goal - first the momentum must be built i.e. to activate the sleeping nation.

Don't you think that the army/agencies issue must be handled with care. We cannot afford to boost our enemies more than already have been done by the current leadership.

Btw: The munafiq league (PML-N) also says something similar, but the funny thing is that have been handicapped for quite a while since the leader has been absent due to some "very serious heart problems" ;) Did they have their own dharna?

well.. Imran Khan is doing the right thing.

he wants to gain momentum as gentleman said before me. it will be a crucial victory if he can get backing of any business tycoons, or backing of any intelligent supporters who can make a difference. but again, he needs to look a little deeper into the matter and perhaps become a little more practical if he wants to win people.

"but again, he needs to look a little deeper into the matter and perhaps become a little more practical if he wants to win people."

I think you are referring to "ground realities". If continue to look at the so called "ground realities", then there will be no ground left in a matter of short time!

hmm nicely put. very filmi words though lol
but ground realities are always "ground" realities my friend.
ALQ operatives have been caught in our cities and even in Khi and now you must realize why MQM since a long time ago took strong stance against terrorism. its totally against Islam and Peace these bomb blasts.

by practical, i mean that, when we are so vigilantly against drone attacks and killings of our own people... we should be as much against terrorist attacks as well. something which Imran Khan is clearly lacking in his approach. and without it, my personal opinion is besides a lot of Pukhtoons in Khi others wont be attracted to this dharna.

lets see, good luck to PTI

  24. @quaidkamazaar

Imran has many times undoubtedly said that those who kill innocent ppl are terrorists but at the same time he emphasizes on to tackle the root cause the real problems that breeds terrorism...and whats wrong in it?

by the way its a big failure on MQM and PPP's part that even being in dominating position in Karachi or a city that is MQM 's stronghold, still they couldn't stop ALQ guys entering their city....they should resign and accept their failure rather blaming Imran for trying to make unrest in Karachi by just arranging a Dharna there :).....

That is why I was specifically referring to 'drone attacks'.
If they have the same stance on drone attacks, shouldn't MQM/MQMers support such a move ???
