I guess this is what Hamid Mir's deputy meant when he said the bombings are in the pipeline.

In what other country does the host of a major TV talk show is found directly involved with terrorism and yet nothing happens to him. What a country!

  2. This is what has been reported:

Pakistan blast 'kills 12' in Dera Ismail Khan

At least 12 people have been killed in a bomb blast near a police vehicle in the north-western Pakistani town of Dera Ismail Khan.

Officials say the bomb was planted on a bicycle and targeted the town's deputy police superintendent, who was killed along with his guard and driver.

Nobody has yet said they carried out the attack.

Dera Ismail Khan borders the tribal region of South Waziristan, where the army took on the Taliban last year.

"The target was Deputy Superintendent Iqbal Khan", a local police official told the BBC.

"He was getting into his car outside his home when the bomb went off," he said, adding that it was detonated by remote control.

Hospital officials said the dead included women and children.

Now kindly inform us who is Hamid Mir's deputy and how you can substantiate your claim linking him to this blast?

You have been unnecessarily criticizing Pakistan for too long. I do agree with lots of your comments but I am not happy the way you criticize Pakistan in almost all your posts.

Do not forget we Pakistani sacrificed too much for Afghani people during Afghan Fasad of 1980's and you have never written a word of acknowledgment for our sacrifices. This is shameful and also your Pakhtoon killing Pakhtoon drama is absolute non-sense, No one is killing pakhtoons. Let me remind you this fake jihadi culture was exported from Afghanistan into Pakistan. Suicide killing and current wave of terrorism also came from Afghanistan. Lots of your information are good and worth reading but your non-stop whinging and whining are unacceptable to most of Pakistanis including myself. We may have difference of opinion but respect and tolerance is the way to go.

Another karnama of your jihadi mates to kill our Pakistani Police and innocent public.

What would you do to stop this?

Should we let them kill us?

Should we hand over our country to people like talibans?

Those willing to see the truth, can see it from a mile away. Those who are unwilling to see the truth cannot even see it front of their faces.

Neither taliban and hamid mir have come out and said that the recording is fake, but instead made excuses and blamed fifty other people for their own words. Where is the investigation into hamid mir's contacts?

And even if Hamid Mir, Hakeemullah Mehsud and Kayani appear together on TV accepting the obvious double game being played, the usual supporters of fasaad will find some excuse to quote some western liberal website to deny the evidence and blame kalapani or cia.

What good is evidence when it does not fit establishment's criteria it is thrown out in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan?

“Iqbal Khan was so active against the Taliban. We planted that bomb and claim responsibility for this attack,” Azam Tariq, the main spokesman for Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) told AFP by telephone.

“We will target all such people. These sorts of policemen are on our hit list,” he said, speaking from an undisclosed location.

  10. Those who claim should have credible valid backup otherwise it is just plain disinformation and negative propaganda.
You are continuously spreading your biased views that are also racist about Pakistan and its Army since long now.
Hamid Mir has not only denied anything to do with that fictious recording but has filed a case of defamation againt the source and its owner Salman Taseer.

The heinous attack in DI Khan reminds us that even though we have a relative stability but the threat of Taliban is far from over. The roots of religious extremism are present both in urban and rural centers and unless we make a serious effort to take the masses in confidence regarding the war on terror such incidents will shatter their confidence.

@semirza, just like I said you are unwilling to listen to taliban spokesman's own words when it suits you. Hamid Mir's denial mean squat when everyone knows its his voice, tone, pattern of speech on the clear recording.

And how can I be racist against an identity created by jinnah and the british? Strange thing you accuse me off. Anyone who is racist, it is the pakistani establishment for its assault using taliban and army against pukhtuns.

I do agree with lots of your comments but this Pakhtoon business in your every post is inappropriate. Would you ever stop criticising Pakistan?
