Did 'Terrorists' Kill MQM MPA?

(30 posts)
  1. Rehman Malik, Fauzia Wahab continue to claim that all that is happening in Karachi is the work of Taliban, including ysterdays's murder of MQM MPA (of course MQM and ANP are themselves claiming no such thing. see e.g. Muttahida blames ANP for MPA’s killing).

    Do you agree with RM?

  2. 32 killed in Karachi violence since that murder. I am sure RM will say all those were killed by 'Taliban' as well....

Raza’s blood won’t go in vain: Altaf

LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain, strongly condemning the killing of MPA Raza Haider on Monday evening termed the incident ‘a grave tragedy’ and demanded a high level investigation.

In a statement, the MQM Chief said: “The Shahadat of Raza Haider is a heart-rending incident.”

He said Raza Haider remained associated with MQM since the early days of party’s movement and his ‘Shahadat’ is a great and irredeemable loss for MQM.

Altaf Hussain said his condolences go to the bereaved family members of Syed Raza Haider.

“Raza Haider’s blood will not go in vain,” Altaf Hussain maintained

"It seems MQM was waiting for such time, they have started burning city of light with their killing thoughts and chemical..."

Is is beyond them to bump this fella off (for some internal reason) and then use it for an excuse for this mayhem? False flags are nothing new. Remember Ashura blast and similar -- and immediate -- burning of the city?

Lolzz...Conspiracy theories can you explain that by giving some basic facts and figures about karachi on what ground you discover that???

  10. It's more of a political issue in my opinion. Blame ttp and SSP to avoid further damage - Malik just did that. Some one please ask him what were they doing all these months if the 'planners' were in custody since october. A nonsensical statement indeed.

  11. Some guy "IntelTweet" is claiming TTP has already claimed responsibility:

The Pakistani Taliban (TTP) have reportedly claimed credit for the assassination of "apostate" politician Reza Haider in Nazimabad, Karachi.

  14. Its more like a Political gain behind that....He was an MPA from constituency which covers most dangerous areas of Orangi like Qasba calony and probably Paharh ganj or Kati Paharh what ever the name of that area is also included under his constituency....Their Land mafia is very active to such extent that they have also grabbed his property in that constituency as well...and most of land mafia their are armed Pashtuns from Waziristan region under the flag and protection of ANP because that area is fit for them to live due to mountain and its like heaven for land Mafia....MQM had been very vocal against them for couple of Months and even started pointing out names of people who are operational their as well so to keep them shut this might be the reason for Assassination as they would try to gain influence in that constituency by Ghunda gardi and when ever next by election held they could be able to get that seat through their member....

Another thing which is making some sense about Rehman malik's Sectarian organization theory is that many of those banned sectarian organization's members+Taliban commanders are also arrested from ANP areas of that constituency so it is also a possibility that ANP might have USED them to KEEP THEIR NAMES CLEAN because most Taliban commanders who are arrested in Karachi have been arrested from this area so at one point we see that no other Political parties(except ANP) can enter those areas be it PPP, JI/JUI or even PTI then how is that possible that those Banned outfit are working their without any problem???This is a big question and the answer is very simple current incident of Raza Haider gives a clue that they have SOME COMMON INTEREST involved...

    NONEEEE

MQM has long history of killing its own leadership and workers. This episode at a time when our country is facing the worst disaster in the shape of devastating floods has some meanings.

Asif Ali Zardari was being criticized for taking a leisure trip to Europe at a time when nation needed the leadership to be with poor people facing the brunt of natural disaster. To divert the attention of public through media this killing is very much suspicious.

Zardari's record is very dubious and he can go to every extent to achieve his nefarious objectives. Even in PPP many people think that he is behind the murder of Benazir. Murtaza Bhutto's daughter Fatima openly says that Zardari is behind the murder of his father. Moreover, Altaf has very close relations with Indian agencies and they use him all the time to create unrest in Karachi.

Troika of Zardari, Altaf and RAW is very dangerous for the very existence of Pakistan.

Rehman Malik has been saying same thing which MQM had been saying for ages but no one paid attention to that and now we have the result of it as one MPA assassinated and many shops burned so now who is responsible???

Talking about MQM they have done quite alot to get things under control like Governor Sindh came up with plan of Anti encroachment cell in Karachi and due to that Govt. tried retrieve Cottage Industry's land as well and MQM had given list of people who were involve in all that countless times but no action was ever taken against those elements...

Funny...I thought MQM was blaming ANP and RM blaming 'Outside Elements'. As far as who is burning shops, etc., I am sure everyone is very clear on that.

Oh so this is what you call "things being under control"? Funny :) Even funnier is the example you give of MQM's success ("Governor Sindh came up with plan of Anti encroachment cell") but then in the same breath you tell us it was a complete failure ("no action was ever taken")

""Funny...I thought MQM was blaming ANP and RM blaming 'Outside Elements'. As far as who is burning shops, etc., I am sure everyone is very clear on that.""

MQM blamming ANP on the basis of Shahi Syed's press conference in July 2010 and also on the basis of elements that are making these situation are mostly traced in ANP influenced areas of Karachi whether its Taliban, banned outfits, Land mafia, Drug mafia or illegal arms suppliers...So when they are all traced their so whom should MQM blame???Srilanka???

Oh my goodness am I arguing with some school kid???Dont know where to start you explaining but lets try....First understand the difference between TRYING TO GET things under control and BEING under control because I obviously used the word TRYING TO GET not BEING so take it in that prospective instead of coming up with your own...Another thing I didnt said that Anti encroachment cell was some success but IT WAS AN EFFORT by MQM and read the part that you have quoted in the end once again because that PART was QUOTED FOR LIST OF 150+ PEOPLE....

  22. So once again Taliban mafia has accepted the responsibility of killing an MPA. This is terrible; taliban terrorists have destryed peace in FATA/PK and now they wantto do the same in Karachi. I have been long warning about their advances into other large cities of Pakistan and this murder in broad day light verfies my anxiety. Only solution to fight this terrible mafia is to wage a full scale war against them and kill all of them; no arrest no courts, just simply shoot every terrorist at sight. They have been sending thier brainwashed kids to our cities and thousands of innocent Pakistanis have lost their lives and our response has been slow and lukewarm. It is high time to take strongest action against taliban criminals and their supporters. New anti-terror law should be enforced immediately.

Your beloved taliban terrorists are on the run and new anti-terror law will give extra powers to Police to catach taliban criminals and my view is to kill all of these terrorists as they do not deserve any mercy. Govt should also bring a strict law (arrest them and put them in jail to rot for life) for cyber fasadis who support taliban terrorists. Enough is enough and now it is time for real action.

If a jew is killed in Israel, they consider his blood so precious that they avenge it by killing atleast 50 palestanians. What about Karachi???
