Last govt. introduced that a parliment member should have a education limit. It was a GOOD move as parliment members are part of Law making so they should have some qualification. It is still badly NEEDED, as the stuff on the power of their wealth (faudality) are use to be elected and get power again and again.
Experiment in last govt. probably NOT as much successful, as difference between well-educated, educated and non-educated seems very little and that Disclosed the corruption and poor education system. What is an EDUCATION?
Is a person who has read 500 books can be called 'learned'? Can we call such degree holders as 'learned people'? I think it is two totally different things, as these so called 'educated elite' can be well-read (books only) but yet HAVE NOT learnt anything out of those books, and they have one degree which can say that they have passed certain examination YET NO gaurantee that they are learned.
My this viewpoint got strength when I read comments of some of such 'well-educated' people here on this forum. You know we have certain doctors and people with lot of degrees here, but I am sorry to say it is astonishing for me to read their comments, level of thinking and choice of words. One could and should expect much more intellectual argumentation from such elite, but probably they are Readers but NOT learnt. It has nothing to do with, if they agree with me or not, it is just there level of argumentations are simply below than what degreed and titels they are holding.
Dear people! we have problem in nation. It is NOT good enough to have read quatity of books and having paper degrees, we NEED those who have learnt also from books.
