do we have any "value" in the eyes of our leaders ?

(19 posts)
  1. we, the chanting, screaming, frustrated memebers of this forum, do we really have any value in the eyes of the so called rulers of PAkistan ?

are we just farts or do we really have any impact ?

my opinion is that we are zero and nothing in the eyes of the leaders of today, but we can pretend , and we can use poetry and we can flash our fake degrees which cant really even feed us properly and look important...we can even drag and attack hate=religion, and declare God as our servant and drag Rasool Allah's honor down by pretending to be islamists....

its futile in nature, but we can do is not much other then self glorify ourselves and pretend to be tender hearts..

but the fact is that we are no bodies and we think too much...

all efforts to show our importance will fail....

the powers to be are on some other level....

    Mulla!

The fact that we come here to spend time means we care.

Effective we are not individually except if we join and raise a voice of reason.

I am sure we all share the frustration of being zero.

We can only be more effective if we all do more than talk.I am sure some of us are doing it already.

"I am sure we all share the frustration of being zero"

I might have come up with something like that. But I would add.Its not just sharing frustration rather you can sharpen you skills to write, comprehend, deliver and lot more and at the time use those skills in your life practically. So not everything is Zero as far as our personal effort is concerned. As far as Leaders are concern my personal opinion is only revolution can uproot them not words. An abrupt, speedy, bloody revolution and rest is just talk and awareness for mostly "aware" peeps.Such revolution in throughout history has been brought by under privileged, laborer type or janooni people. We are softies and only can think of soft revolution or maximum calling mulla-preacher as Mr.president!

Why all those who really care for Pakistan are only in debates and not on frontline.

Such a deficiency of leaders. I do feel hopeless but I cant afford to. Pakistan is all we have.

    Yes ,I do

Although I do not like them but I do not want pakistan to go from bad to worse ,I do not like them but i support democracy and parliament .If we believe or not they are the representative of the people .in current condition without these big parties like PPP and PML-N there will be small groups will fight each other and make our country "rawanda"

They are bad but the situation can be worse without them

May be it all boils down to education and justice. So we do feel we can fight for our rights and we can make educated decision in elections.

But than who can arrange education and justice for the masses.

If it was all that easy.

If I am a an MBA with a CPA and my president is a Lallu panju from a university that never existed, why would I value him? especially if he has the kind of track record he has.

Leader should be wise not necessarily PhD.

  14. i guess ..
when it comes to respect n giving value ...
it has less to do with education and more to to do with whom we are talking about?
    for example
Abdus Sattar Eidhi has no acedemic degree
but ppl respect him ...value him as a philanthropist .
he has his name in Guinness book as the biggest voluntary ambulance service in all over the world.
wether its earthquake or flood or the IDPs of Swat ...
we can see him and his organization working in tough conditions ...
he gathered a lot of charity money ....as ppl trust him to give their money to him ...
i think he has more value in our eyes than an OXFORD graduate leader .

taxi drivers and leaders do not need any qualification in pakistan,

taxi drivers and leaders in pakistan do not need basic training of manners and attitudes either,

    BUT,

those, who bow them...obey them...call them jieay..jieay, must hold phd degrees.

    voters should be qualified,
    leaders should be taxi drivers,

    voters should follow manners,
so that leader can call them..."PAAGAL KAY BACHCHAY".

    Disagree with ALL!

Unless you lead a country rich in black gold (oil), you NEED to be well-educated to lead the nation. It isn't easy to lead a country into strong geopolitical ties or bring in FDIs from foreign countries unless you are ready to "really" communicate with the leaders of the biggest nations in the world. For that the 2nd biggest criteria (right behind "good intentions") is "education" and there are no two ways about it.

As for Abul Sattar Eidhi, great intentions? YES. Ability to lead Pakistan into the next decade? NO! He is the best in what he currently does, i.e., help people.

As for Zardari, Good intentions? LOL! Education? ROFLMAO!

PPP ,PML-N and the army is doing good job for Pakistan now days ,They are responsible and have taken then the responsibility in difficult situation instead of boycott and protest .I respect Nawaz shareef too ,He is not making anti government policy just because country is in difficult situation .Nawaz shareef could become more popular by opposing the operation and supporting the taliban .but he did not and this is just because he realize what is good for the country .Zerdari also played good second inning no the whole National assembly respect him ,Zardari is not making enemies ,He could get get the popularity after bainazer death in sindh by sindhodaish slogan but he supported democracy and Pakistan .

no one is angel but i appreciate those who does some thing good .
