    @LifeH2O: Don't "perceive" this from the "standpoint" of "people" living in the west.

    Look at it through the eyes of the common man all around the globe. What do you see ?

    It is a powerful motivator.

    Assalam-o-Alaikum-Warahmat-ULLAH ALL,

    When you note;

    (1) more than a billion human beings on this planet do not have food, today

    (2) jobless-ness is an increasing trend all across the globe

    (3) human beings have started rioting for basic human rights, even across the western so-called "developed" nation states

    (4) human beings are "forced" to live under "slavery", especially in South East Asia, where western corporations "force" them to work for more hours with the least of compensation, by threatening them with;

    (a) jobless-ness
    (b) a future filled with war, with conflicts
    (c) turning their own people against them, through their propagandist mass media
    (d) their military forces

    if they don't comply.

    What do you think money will do for them ?

    As for they have shown in video, it also fits here. Money is a powerful motivator but only upto an extent, after that it reverses. More money means less productivity.

    Are those getting salary above lakh 2 lakhs (very high salary comparatively) really more productive?

    Money is not the most desirable or the only motivator around but it seems to be the one that does the job better than others.

    To throw a grenade into this discussion, if religion was a better motivator, Pakistan would have sent it's first astronaut to 'Earth 2' by now.

    If I were to make the rules, I would chose merit and service of others as my motivators. These are just common sense ideas and do not need any affirmation.

    For now I must get back to making money.
