If the protestors hold out it will be inevitable that he will have to step down forthwith, it's a matter of being patient and much like the Pak Military they Egyption Military will be thinking along strategic lines and thinking can we sustain ourselves if the economy continues to take a nose dive.

Hosni mubarak the bloody killer will step down because his masters USA and Isreal wants him to step down not becuase people want him to step down. People like hosni mubarak are known to kill thousands of opposition people in one day. The real drama is that army of Egypt isnt supporting Hosni mUBARAK something they've done in the last 30 years. They are not supporting hosni mubarak because USA and israel havnt given them the signal to do so. And regarding this election in september, the election in september was planned last year so this isnt something new. And hosni mubarak have said thousands of times in tv channels that he isnt going to run for president in the next election.
So everything is going accourding to usa's plan. But the real climax will come when the most popular party in egypt (Hizb ut-Tahrir ) will start to show their muscles. Hizb ut-Tahrir have millions of supporters and when they decide to come on the streets no body can overcome them. So far Hizb ut-Tahrir is waiting and watching the situation carefully. May allah guide the muslim ummah and show them the right path towards peace and harmony. hizbul tehreer leaders have been hanged, slaughtered, burned just because they were against hosni mubarak.
Pakistan is a different case in that sense that in pakistan it is allowed to have demonstrations, it is allowed to make a opposition party, media is independent, and the judiciary is independent. Something egypt doesnt have + pakistan is a much larger country and there is ethnic divide in pakistan.
The day when pakistani's really decide to be united (pakhtuns, muhajirs, punjabi, balochi, sindhi etc) then nobody can stop pakistan to be worlds super power and the richest country in the world.

This should teach us all a good leasson on how to remove a leader produced by an inquilaab that we all talk about. This should also tell us how to remove an ameer-ul-momineen. Infact ameer-ul-momineen removal will be harder than this because you are committing treason against state and Islam. yakk naa shudd doo shudd.

In democracy, well, you wait for 5 years and walk to the closet polling booth. Does'nt democracy suck???

    inquilaab!! inquilaab!!!
    Labbaik yaa khomeni!

"A two term tenure for a leader is ideal. I like American system of two terms."

I agree and it should be extended to not only CMs, governors but also party leaders like Sharifs, Bhuttos, Imran Khan, Altaf Hussein, Asfand Yar etc. Keep rotating faces for meaningful changes.

It seems like everyone is happy but you. Perhaps a break from politics and some focus on cricket up till World Cup may help you achieve some peace of minds.

It's not others or events it's your own expectations that are keeping you restless. Try to bring your expectations and emotions quotient down a bit and you will be fine.
