Its not a civil war as is proclaimed by western media or some extremist local media channels.If its civil war how come people of Punjab,people of Sindh and Kashmir and people in NWFP are helping the people fleeing Swat?They were supposed to be reaching for each others throats.Civil war is when one section of Pakistanis are killing the other section of Pakistanis.Like that happend in so called USA.Even the 1971 war wasnt a civil war.
This "war" is also a failure of once feared by enemies;ISI and other agencies.A complete disaster!The foreign agencies that are operating in northern areas should have been countered by the agencies in Pakistan.How come it didnt happend?I think it happend because ISI used to be a freely operating agency and now its wings have truly been clipped by local elites with the help of foreign agents in the government and army.
The thing that i call it a clash of different classes not the masses of Pakistan is because you would only see these types waging war on each other.Ordinary Pakistanis that are fleeing that area are helped by ordinary Pakistanis in safe area.How come?It doesnt make sense if it were a civil war.
Read the foreign news outlets and specially the tone that they use in their reporting.The exact same tone is used by elites in Pakistan.The ordinary people in west use a different tone.I would qoute one of the western civilian writing about current situation in Pakistan.It basically brought a shame to me cause if an anglo can feel it how come our "junkies" are feeling something different?
