Environment and large dams

    It is commonly held perception that dams are environmentally friendly, but on the contrary it has been proven that dams can be very harmful for the environment. Here at the pkpolitics some people have been creating biased perceptions based on their own political views.   2. No, not exactly beneficial. Dams change the whole surrounding environment. On a massive scale dams bear an impact on local flora and fauna, wildlife, displaced public that loses property in this process they remain emotionally attached with.
    Large scale water seepage back into the earth is like forced high pressure seepage. Should bear some consequences. Nothing comes free in this world.
