Galileo is old news for Europe now. The advancement of science in the last 200 years has been on such a large scale that the time of Galileo might as well be 2000 years ago. We as a people are very far away from this. Does anyone know the literacy rate in Pakistan?
What good is al khalid 2 or 3 tank when you have nuclear weapons and still not safe in places of worship or markets?

If we take nuclear technology as benchmark for advanced technology then we see that Pakistan is already a super advanced nation by having skill set and knowhow required to develop any technology.

It only depends on the will of the rulers what they want to develop.

Currently the will of the rulers is focused on how to loot as much as possible.

Stealing Dutch technology on uranium enrichment and supplier list is not advancement in physics. Getting the design from china for the nuclear bomb is not advancement in nuclear technology. Bartering for missiles from North Korea and naming them ghori is not advancement in science. How much energy is Pakistan producing from nuclear technology? Someone needs to steal that also.
How many physicists are we producing?
is there a single university in Pakistan that is teaching physics on the world level?
what is this advanced technology that Pakistan has developed?

Actually naysayers will always tell negative part they forget that russians chinese and americans also stole technology secrets.

Do research on nuclear technology and then also accuse other SUPER POWERS of copying -lolz

End result is whether or not a project is successful or not and in our case it was a HUGE success.

I know how it gives heart burns to anti-pak elements like you :)

Being realistic is being pro Pakistan. Gen niazi used to claim he will take over red fort in Delhi if India dared to attack Bangladesh. He also claimed that he would open up a route for supply through India to West Pakistan any time he desired. What happened in 1971 is part of history now. Pakistan has had enough of idiots who live in make believe land. Ring a bell?

Keep general niazi on side and focus on Pakistan's achievement of the most advanced technology.

We can accomplish sophisticated projects like that if govt is willing to do.

  9. Assalam-o-Alaikum-Warahmat-ULLAH ALL,

@aqil khan: Bhaee jaan, I understand your point. I have improved upon it.

I'm saying, both activities can be done at the same time. The problem Pakistan is facing is that we have the wrong people 'governing' over us, that is why both! are not happening.

As I asked before in my reply to yahya87, what is stopping govt. of Pakistan from serving 180 million people of Pakistan ?

Aren't the rest of the world governments carrying out these activities ? Why are we the only ones unable to do it ?

Is all of this not self evident ?

    @BaliMA: Give me 10-15 years of rule. I'll give you over 80% literacy rate. I'll;

    - remove loop holes from constitution of Pakistan (which will end political turmoil in this nation)
    - de-politicize police, state institutions
    - establish impartial, across the board justice system
    - standardize education system
    - encourage, facilitate research and development, SMB sectors
    - facilitate people in villages, provide people living in villages with means to earn money in! villages

If any Pakistani Govt. does that, Pakistan can march towards prosperity just fine without any foreign help.

Putting up Pakistan's flag on Dehli is not far away. You know why ? Because Indian govt. is bent on corruption, its intent on treating its people badly.

It is spending billions of dollars on amassing latest weapons to projects its hegemony in the region, rather than spending that money on its poor people.

Why do you think there are more than a dozen independence 'tehreek' within India, some of which have over-run many police stations in past few weeks/months alone ?

There is dissent brewing up in India. India needs stability. If US economy collapses, ALL of India's hegemonic designs as well as its stability, its economy will fall.

So, how is Pakistan away from putting up its flag on Dehli ?

The Indian Regional Navigational Satellite System (IRNSS) is an autonomous regional satellite navigation system being developed by Indian Space Research Organisation [1] which would be under total control of Indian government. The requirement of such a navigation system is driven by the fact that access to Global Navigation Satellite Systems, GPS, is not guaranteed in hostile situations.

The government approved the project in May 2006, with the intention of the system to be completed and implemented by 2012. The first satellite of the proposed constellation, developed at a cost of Rs.1,600 crore (16 billion rupees), is expected to be launched in 2012

A goal of complete Indian control has been stated, with the space segment, ground segment and user receivers all being built in India.

It is unclear if recent agreements with the Russian government to restore their GLONASS system will supersede the IRNSS project or feed additional technical support to enable its completion. However reports came in May 2009 that India plans to starts launching satellites by December 2009 and the whole constellation would be in orbit by 2012 if they hold true.

  11. Assalam-o-Alaikum-Warahmat-ULLAH ALL,

singh isking: Thankyou. Even India is ahead of us in this field.
