A good read for all India Lovers and Supporters!

An identity called India is all set to be destroyed. It will not take much time. By the time the grand sons and great grand sons of the existing living generation grow up and become old, there will be nothing called India. I am not giving a fictitious account, but an analysis based on facts that each one of you can relate yourself with. Before proceeding further, I would like to make a statement about myself. I am neither part of any cultural or religious organisation nor linked indirectly to any such organisation. My analysis is purely based on the historical facts, current trends and the sociological possibilities based on the human behavior.
Historical aspects:
1. Bharatvarsha: There was a way of life in the Indian subcontinent extending beyond the boundaries of current day India. The way of life consisted of idol worship, belief in rituals, reverence of certain holy books like the Vedas, the Bhagavadgita etc. People used to worship Gods in temples. The festivals and Gods are more or less common across the subcontinent. This way of life was not called a religion and intense questioning was allowed due to which a number of philosophers cropped up in the land. The way of life kept changing with changing social needs. Gautam Buddha who was supposed to be God of the Buddhist religion was also one such saint who emerged due to the freedom to question in the land. The natives used to call this huge piece of land Bharatvarsha. Bharatvarsha was ruled by different warring kings but the boundaries of each kingdom have not remained fixed. The native kings of Bharatvarsha however had no history of taking on the civilians. Which ever place the kings occupied, they had taken care of the people as if they are their own people and the arts and culture flourished.
2. Hindustan: Bharatvarsha was invaded by kings from outside and popularly called it Hindustan. Mahmud of Ghazni was the first invader belonging to a way life different from the way of life in Bharatvarsha. As more and more invaders came in from outside in the subsequent years, there was no choice but to call the way of life a religion and give it a name which ultimately became Hindustan. The origin of the words Hindustan, the name India and the name of the modern river Indus was the word “Sindhu” used by the ancient people in the Bharatvarsha who lived in the vedic age. The word Sindhu was used multiple times in the Rig Veda which was the most ancient literary work of the people in the land. The civilization flourished near the river Sindhu (Indus in the current day Pakistan). Though the way of life and languages of different people in Bharatvarsha differed from each other, it looked alike for an outsider whose way of life can no way be compared with that in Bharatvarsha. Henceforth let us use the term Hindustan or India and call the people Hindus as they are popularly called. Let us also accept that Hinduism is a religion ignoring the historical aspect. Now it is a few centuries since the people started identifying with a religion called Hinduism irrespective of what history says.
3. Caste system: It is very important to understand the history of the caste system to understand India better. I have already written a blog earlier on the caste system and am just posting a link below.
http://greatthinker.sulekha.com/blog/post/2007/11/understanding-the-history-of-the-caste-system.htm
Current trends:
1. Political: The political trends can be understood from the blog I posted earlier the link of which I have pasted below. I have explained in the blog why continuation of the current political trends will ensure disintegration of the country.
http://greatthinker.sulekha.com/blog/post/2007/11/dirty-coalitions-and-the-disaster-ahead-karnataka.htm
2. Social: Hindus in India do accept all faiths and absorb the habits of others in the society. Hindus who visit places in which there are famous churches ensure that they pay visit to such places and proudly exhibit the photographs. They feel proud in being identified as secular. They make their friends of other religions feel at ease. Majority of the Hindus respect the Islamic faith during the holy month of Ramzan and participate actively in the Iftaar parties to put their Muslim brothers at ease. Now my curiosity is to know how much reciprocation is there from the others. Yes there are unwanted exceptions like the Jagannath temple in Puri and Sabarimala in Kerala where others are not allowed inside which leaves Hinduism in bad taste. Barring these exceptions, how many Indian tourists belonging to Christianity and Islam visit temples in the tourist places and have photographs near the temples? What can be the reasons for not doing so?
3. Festivals: Due to the popularity of Santa Claus, the Hindu kids do make their parents celebrate Christmas in many homes where a Christmas tree is becoming more common these days. Is there any Hindu festival that generates similar response in the homes of Muslims and Christians? It will take just one more generation for Christmas to be a festival in all Hindu homes. The kids who knew and celebrate the festival right from childhood will be surely attached to it that they will ensure its continuation.
Patriotism factor:
For any country to survive, there should be some patriotism factor. Patriotism will be there if people have a sentimental or emotional attachment for the country. By emotional attachment, I do not mean a personal attachment for someone’s grave which people can visit from an outside country as well when time permits. People should culturally feel that there is no other place on earth that can satisfy their cultural, materialistic needs the way the particular country provides. People should be able to relate to any oppression of the people in the country and feel emotional for the destruction of any historical relics in the country. One should be able to identify them selves with the destruction and should be able to feel the urge to retain all such important archaeological wonders. The way people feel emotional comfort near their parents, they should be able to feel that there is a country that will protect them when need arises due to problem that they encounter in any other country. Usually people who would have heard the stories of Ramayana and Mahabharata from their parents or grand parents will be able to immediately identify themselves with places like Kurukshetra, Ayodhya, Dwarka, Madhura, Kanyakumari, Bhadrachalam and many other places. Suppose these people come to know that these places are destroyed and the names get changed, the people will feel that their identity is being erased. Only such people who are sentimentally attached to the places or history or mythology of a country will feel patriotic. Patriotism will not come through any other means.
Now our task is to find out those people who can feel patriotic for India. Let us consider each group of people in India and analyse the patriotism factor.
Buddhists: Majority of the Buddhists in India emerged from Indian society itself. They trace the origin of their religion to India and most of the historical monuments for Buddhists are present in India. They do feel possessive of India.
Jains: Similar to Buddhists, Jains have their emotions and sentiments linked to places in India.
Sikhs: The religion is formed by people in Hinduism itself and their roots are in Punjab. There is no reason why they will not like India though they will not be able to forget the riots allegedly sponsored by the Indian state in 1984 in the aftermath of Indira Gandhi’s death. Still there is no reason why they will feel more attachment for any other country.
Muslims: It is the religion in the world in which people will rank religion as priority before the country. The faith itself divides people based on believers and non-believers. People not part of Islam are non-believers for them. Now, how much patriotic can people be towards India more than what they have for countries like Pakistan, Saudi Arabia etc? What makes them feel attachment for India? What is the emotional aspect that will make them feel for India when need arises?
Christians: India has a lot of Christians who were successful in various fields of science of technology. There are some states in which huge pockets consist of Christians. But to understand the actual psychology of the Christians, we should analyse the history of the religion in India. Before St.Thomas brought Christianity into India, there was no Christian in the country. During the British rule the number of people in the religion increased rapidly. The basic question is why people in India became Christians. The most popular argument is that all the oppressed in the Indian society took up Christianity. If the oppressed people get into some other religion, Hindus cannot fight over it. The answer is to take care of everyone equally or to keep quiet. But there are others who converted to Christianity due to the professional opportunities. In a poor country like India, we cannot even question those who are converting to a religion for their own bread. Of course India is not able to provide bread to all its citizens. If so, why are we seeing so many beggars on the roads? But the question that remains unanswered is why the missionaries should convert the religion for providing the social service? Why should they help people only by converting them? But in this blog I am not going to touch the aspect of conversion. I would like to give a benefit of doubt to the missionaries. Let us assume that all the people who are converting are doing so with their own interest. Now, those who are doing so on their own are certainly fed up with the life in the country (say, Hinduism). Now all these people who converted to Christianity know the fact that the religion expanded during the British rule. They know that the missionaries are a by-product of western influence on India. Now my question to the readers is on what makes the Christians love India or feel attachment towards India more than what they feel for Britain or other Western nations like USA? It is a choice between the country which they feel has oppressed them and the countries that have given a new hope of a better social life. The answer is obvious. Their hearts will be in the western countries.
Sociological factors:
As per sociology any human behavior will be stabilized and become permanent in just a few generations unless a major forced change happens. The current trends among the new age teenagers and the kids among Hindus are to celebrate Christmas, celebrate Valentines day, attend Iftaar parties, adapt every habit of the west and keep saying that they are secular and take every opportunity to prove that they are secular. At the same time, very few Hindu youth knew about their own epics. Many feel it fine not to know about their festivals and celebrations. But the way of life continues due to the presence of their parents who keep the tradition going. When the older generations no more exist and the current generation brings up its children, automatically they will know nothing about their religion and the festivals, but will know more about Christmas, Valentines day etc. Consider children after a couple more generations. They will know nothing about Hindu way of life. Where will the hearts of such people lie? They will of course be more interested to visit a Vatican city or some western countries where the history of the way of life is associated. Of course people will like a place they are born and brought up. But there will be no patriotism factor in it. All these future people will be convinced then that India was a land of oppression due to which a good religion called Christianity found its place in the country. They will then believe more the campaign of the western media and west sponsored Indian media about the so called dirty place called India. Where will their hearts be then? In parallel, there will be negative impact due to the growth of Islam as well. Islam is the most united religion in the world and the hearts of people will lie in the interests of the Islamic people. They will directly or indirectly join or support those forces. If India fights the Islamic jihad threats, it should not expect support from its Muslim population.
Conclusion:
Considering all the above, it is clear that Hindu way of life or Hinduism should survive for a country called India to survive. Only the people who love this way of life and those who are attached to the ancient history of the land will feel patriotic for the land and they will be the ones who will fight to save the country. There is no emotional reason for others to safeguard the country. Based on the current trend, it is a mathematical certainty that the Hindu way of life will become extinct. There needs no genocide to make Hindus extinct. The current trends in the society are sufficient. The current media in India that is biased is sufficient to influence people. Media of course plays a larger role than any communication channel. It is the media that influences and hypnotises the people. Here I would like to use a blog written by Rajee Kushwaha on who controls the Indian media. The link is given below.
http://rajee.sulekha.com/blog/post/2007/12/who-controls-indian-media.htm
One more Sulekha friend Jajith wrote a blog about the trend in Kerala towards extinction of Hindus. The link for the same is given below.

The mathematical factor:
Look at the world map in different ages (say 6th century BC, 6th century AD, 11th century AD, 19th century AD). In 6th century BC, current day Afghanistan and Pakistan also had Hindus. Cambodia has the largest Vishnu temple in the world at Angkor Vat. Without looking at the reasons, just plotting a graph with YEARS on X-axis and AREAS WITH HINDU POPULATION (in Sq Hectares) on Y-axis will tell you what has happened till date. Then in the same graph, extrapolate for future years till you reach a zero. That will give you the year when no land will be there for Hindus anywhere in the world.
Disintegrated India and the after effects:
Suppose, the India that we have today disintegrates and no more exists, what will be the fate of the people belonging to the country? Whether one is a Christian or a Hindu, the colour and the features of the people will be obvious. The racial Caucasian Christians will never accept the colored Christians as their equals. If they should accept the Christians as equals, Africa would have been one of the best places and the black oppression should have stopped long back in various countries. But racialism does exist. Then Indians of today will have no Governments of their own to protect them when need arises. Based on the current political trends, the current day India will become a puppet in the hands of the west. Whether the land piece remains one or disintegrates does not matter. Then if the Indians face genocide, there will be no Government to look towards for help. There will be no place to take refuge. It was the condition of Jews during the Second World War. They had no place of their own until the Jewish lobby forced UNO to create Israel. But there was support for Jews only because of international opinion those days against Hitler. It is always important to learn lessons from history and prevent disasters. Hence the motto should be to save India by saving the Hindu way of life. There is no alternate way to save India.
