Approximately 87 Hijri years ago on 28th of Rajab 1342 A.H. corresponding to 3rd of March 1924 the treacherous Mustafa Kemal with the help of the British officially abolished the Khilafah. Boasting this “great success” the British Foreign Minster Lord Curson declared before the House of Commons on 24th of July 1924: “The point at issue is that Turkey has been destroyed and shall never rise again, since we have destroyed her spiritual power: the Khilafah and Islam.” And then it happened precisely what he had said. Not only Turkey but also the whole Ummah slipped from its respected place in the world to the humiliated position never seen in its history before. The Kufar tore the huge state into numerous small statelets. These states were actually prisons to keep Muslims divided and weak. Over each prison the imperialists appointed a prison guard of the likes of Musharraf and Karzai. Then the Kafir imperialists attacked these prisons one after the other. They exploited the Ummah economically, politically and socially whilst the job the Muslim ruler was to support and protect the imperialist during its loot and plunder. Hence, whether it was the oil of the Arab countries or diamonds and precious stones of the African Muslim land; whether it was the armies of Pakistan and Bangladesh or the gas of the Central Asian states all of these resources began to be used for the interest of the Kafir imperialist, specially America. After destroying the Ummah’s unison the imperialist gave Muslims hollow slogans of nationalism and useless platforms such as the Arab League. But the biggest deception and fraud was the OIC, which not only stood as a mute spectator during Palestine, Kashmir, Bosnia, Kosovo, Chechnya, Iraq, Afghanistan and Lebanon massacres but also rubber-stamped the policies and decisions of the imperialist along with declaring imperialist’s tool, the United Nations, as the sole saviour of the Muslim Ummah. During the first Iraq war these agent Muslim rulers not only supported American financially but also donated Muslim blood by sending Muslim armies to help America. And till today, whether it is Wana or Afghanistan the treacherous rulers are killing their own Muslim brothers with their own hands. In this so-called war on terrorism the whole Ummah is on one side whilst the traitor Muslim rulers, flanked with the imperialist, are on the other.

Why muslims failed because they didnt accept education and research at all. So called muslims scholars have issued fatwas on every scientific invention even glasses. first command for Prophet ( sallalaho alaihe wasallum ) was to read. Prophet ( sallalaho alaihe wasallum )even gave punishment to jangi qaidi to teach muslims how to write and read. off course the jangi qaidi were not teaching them quran and hadees.
even today, there are some idiots who blow away schools and declare it haram to learn new arts and skills. also we gave islam into the hands of so called scholars and didnt bother to go into the details.

  5. A State and Society has better chances to flourish and progress where Religion and Politics are separated.
Unfortunately, in the Muslim World Religious Philosophy has been misinterpreted and misused just to establish and promote Monarchy and Dictatorship.
Most of the useful human activities has been declared Haram or Un-Islamic.
A religious peer or leader behaves like an authoritative Dictator and doesn't tolerate any question.
Submission without argument kills the intellectual growth.

Peru’s former president, Alberto Fujimori, was sentenced to 25 years in prison for violations of human rights by government-linked death squads following a 15- month trial in Lima.

A Peruvian court today found Fujimori, 70, guilty on four charges involving orders for two massacres of 25 people and the kidnappings of a journalist and a businessman while he was president from 1990 to 2000. Fujimori, the country’s first leader to be extradited and tried, was already sentenced in December 2007 to six years in a separate abuse of power case. more….

Will Musharraf face the same fate? Will the people of Pakistan wake up like the people of Peru? No one is above the law? Or, are Musharraf and Altaf above the law?
I hope you people get the POINT....INSAAAF JUSTICE PILLARS OF ISLAM NOT SEEN ANY WHERE LATELY.

    usman1423: very nice article.

javedsheikh: if, religion and state are two seperate things, then why state appoints and nominates bishops and pesh emams ???

why state interferes in religion, if, religion is seperate from state??

do you mean that state has full authority to appoint and strengthen fake religious leaders on its choice to create destructions in muslims intentionally ???

who introduces and strengthens fake religious leaders? religion or state ???

do you want such 'seperation' between state and religion ???
do you favor such 'seperation' where religion becomes 'football' for state ???
    ----------------

this is an amazing phenomena that it was house of saud who destroyed islamic khilafa, and this is the same house of saud who is organizing khilafat movement now.

if, house of saud is doing it now in the love of islam,
then why they destroyed it then ???

in the love of islam ???

Thanks Usman for such a topic

baisc issue is not fall of muslims... issue is fall of nations or society... some very important points which cause fall of a nation are:

1-Education.... those who educate their youth never fall
2-LAW...those who follow and abide LAW never fall
3-Work Hard..those who work hard never fall
4-Humanity.. those who give respect to humans never fall

I will come up with some examples later

  9. simple reason of fall of Muslims is that we believe in literal things.
    we wanna be apparently Muslims.
our actions does not support our title of a Muslim.

A very well written post. But I would suggest not to focus much on the past history though it helps us diagnosing the real cause of our downfall but only diagnosing the patient will not treat him until we give him medicine or advise him necessary preventions.

The Ummah has been stung by the piousness snake (Democracy, Capitalism, Secularism etc) and we are only discussing whose fault was it, Ummah or Snake, rather at the moment the discussion should be how to treat the patient and take him to the doctor because we have discussed the reasons of the downfall quite a lot and came to the conclusion that the reason of our downfall is going away from Islam and leaved it as a reference point in all life affairs.

Those who are really interested in the revival of the Ummah should give evidence to prove or to disprove the point and are requested avoid unnecessary comments, that are taking us away from the real goal.

    Regards

  13. @ hussainmehdi,
It is really very annoying where our scholars twist and make something cloudy.
The Concept about the Separation of Church and State has not been properly understood in the Third world.
Secularism means "Freedom to all the religions" where the State has no right to enforce a particular Faith upon its subjects.
It is respect and tolerance for all the religions being observed within the jurisdiction of a State.
In most of the European states one can find Christians, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Sikh, Budh and non-believers, free to celebrate, observe and enjoy the religious freedom under a code of Constitution.
They are free if don't violate the Rule of Law.
Secularism doesn't block or negate any Faith or Religion but it is philosophy of tolerance.
This is one of the Keys to success and progress.

Since the destruction of the Khilafah in 1924 there has been an assault on the resources in the Muslim lands. Starting with the 100-year contracts signed with western oil companies to drill for oil in the 1930’s, lucrative contracts are being signed by western agencies for natural resources that rightfully belong to the Ummah. The most recent of which have been the colonial style Production Sharing Agreements (PSA’s) for Iraqi oil. These agreements mean that Iraq oil will be privatised, ending up in the hands of foreign, mostly US, oil companies. In addition to this, these agreements spell out that these oil companies will make up to a massive 75% profit on the oil, with 65 of Iraq’s roughly 80 known oil fields being offered to these companies for exploration. In the words of **** Cheney during his time as Haliburton CEO in 1999 who said, "By 2010 we will need [a further] 50 million barrels a day. The Middle East, with two-thirds of the oil and the lowest cost, is still where the prize lies.” Even the wealth that has been generated has not been utilised by the rulers for the benefit of the people or to secure long-term independence and self-sufficiency. A lack of investment in education, employment and technological infrastructure means that billions of dollars are wasted on importing resources, which could be developed at home

The Muslim world has indeed seen destruction, devastation and calamity for the past 85 years. However, the signs of awakening for the return of the Khilafah are now clear for all to see. The proof of this can be seen in the growing gulf between the rulers and the ruled; the speeches and Khutbahs in universities and mosques throughout the Muslim world that call for a sincere and rightly guided Khaleefah to lead the Ummah; witness the mass demonstrations against the bombing and killing of innocent Muslims by US and UK forces in Karachi, Jakarta, Hebron, Dhaka and other places; the increasingly brutal methods and oppression that the regimes are forced to use to quell the desire for political change such as in Egypt and Uzbekistan. It can also be seen by the actions of the colonial powers who realise that the rulers they imposed upon the Muslim world have no support and no legitimacy, hence they are forced to resort to occupying Muslim lands and cementing their presence through military bases. The global reawakening for Khilafah can also be seen in the desperate and pathetic attempts by the regimes and their scholars, who they have bought for a cheap price, to malign, slander and attack the idea of Khilafah. They lie by saying that the Khilafah cannot be established in the modern age, that Islam and politics do not mix, that sectarian differences are too great, that the western powers are too powerful and that the Ummah of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم can never be unified. All of the efforts of the enemies of Islam will be in vain for Allah سبحانه وتعالى has promised the believers that the Khilafah will return on the method of the Prophet and there is no power or might other than Allah سبحانه وتعالى.
