After reading comments in almost every thread and especially threads about PTI and PML-N supporters, it is increasingly clear that use of indecent language and personal attacks have become a norm on PkPolitics. I do my best to maintain decent language in expressing my views and I also expect others to do the same.
I request all blog contributors to use proper language and refrain from using bad words and personal attacks on politicians and their families.

I have noticed the discussion has improved slightly in past some time. Before that it was all about PTI but now I do see other topics as well as active participation in those.
I'd say leave N-League and PTI alone and let them fight. PTI supporters will mature soon, this is all natural.

As for the level of discussions on this forum, yes it has gone down. Funny thing is, the starter of this thread himself/herself too plays a vital part in the mud-slinging.
Tolerance is the key which is lacking from most of us lately. If I ever try to discuss ideas on this forum, I usually get slammed with completely irrelevant and childish remarks especially from a specific individual of a specific party. It doesn't really bother me, but sometimes I really crave for an intellectual discussion where 'ideas' and 'resolutions' are discussed instead of this 'IM BETTER THAN YOU' battle.

after seeing their defeat nooners started personal attacks on IK, which in result degrade the standard. BUT i have not seen any personal attack from PTI supporters towards NAWAZ/ZARDARI/ALTAF. Most of PTI supporter criticize their policies and corruptions.
Standard of discussion on PkPolitics is falling sharply; all we see personal attacks and countr-attacks on Imran Khan and Nazwaz Sharif from their respective opponents. What is even worst is shameful attacks on their family members.
It is high time to focus on policies of parties and leaders rather than attacking their family members and meddling in their private lives.

2. Lets get away with terms like Tehreek-e-Ilzami, Deen-e-Imrani, **** Khan, MUNAFIQ LEAGUE, babar haiwan, and all such terms..

And contrary to your claims the past of both these parties is not very bright in terms of respecting each other, and each others views; they ran media campaings to target each other including personal life without even respecting women. Let alone the media, they used thier filthy language against each other in parliament
And its childish to compare the language used by bloggers to language used by people in Live TV Talk Shows; if you wanna compare the language of PTI bloggers, compare it with your language and your fellow bloggers language.
Anyways, if there is something we can do to improve things, we should do it and this thread could prove to be a good starting point; ofcourse only if we are willing... and I am sure most of us are.

The supporters of PML-N and PTI are mainly responsible for spoiling and misusing the forum. Serious national issues are rarely discussed. Particularly, the supporters seem to be in obsession about their leader. They probably don't realize that excess of anything is bad. Moderation and balance are required in affairs of living.
