This is now more and more sounding a like a drama cooked up by an ISI unit working for Taliban cause.

Some dramas are played on small scales and some on large ones. The biggest drama staged in the recent time was of lawyers' movement. The events after the drama are evident to prove that it indeed a drama. Ch. Iftikhar deserves to be declared as the Shahrukh Khan of the Pakistani drama industry.

What a joke. Now Taliban, which controls every nook and corner of Waziristan are saying that they don't know location of their own handlers inside Waziristan.

Joke of the century. It is interesting to see all the known terrorist sympathizers and facilitators be reveled in this drama.

Afghan ‘Exit Strategy’ Won’t Involve Removing Any Troops
Road Map Will Involve 'Decades' of Additional Deployments
by Jason Ditz, April 23, 2010

A NATO summit in Estonia has culminated with the much-hyped “road map,” an exit strategy for the alliance from Afghanistan after nearly a decade of war. It will detail the alliance’s new strategy for the conflict and, as is so often the case, lower the bar for what constitutes ’success’ in the nation.

Amazingly, initial indications are that the “exit strategy” won’t involve actually removing any troops, but instead will hand over select provinces to the Karzai government while keeping the NATO troops there too for support. This “handover” is expected to last decades, though officials were quick to note it was “not calendar-driven.”

The public announcement has yet to come, but it looks as though the big winner in the strategy is President Karzai, as NATO civilian chief Mark Sedwill ’s comments suggested the alliance will basically shrug off his government’s massive corruption, apparently in the hope that it will eventually grow into a responsible regime.

NATO Chief Anders Fogh Rasmussen warned that no exit strategy could involve a “run for the exits,” and there seems to be no danger of that, as the alliance’s plan seems to cement NATO’s presence as an occupying power over much of Afghanistan for untold decades to come.

What does your story from a Western Jewish website have to do with ISI drama in Waziristan?

We would welcome American involvement in developing Afghanistan vs. Pakistani involvement in destroying Afghanistan.

  10. Exactly WD, exactly. I thought you might feel cheered up to know that's exactly their plan too, I mean the Americans'. They'll give you all the development you need. It should make you feel pleased for a while at least.

    @Mirza ghalib,
Yes, we choose development of our lands over destruction. Hope that doesn't cause you too much pain.

@semirza, I have already explained in detail in previous threads about ISI and how they operate. In this case, the drama is done by the ISI unit of Col "Imam", Khalid Khwaja and supported by Mirza Aslam Beg, Hamid Gul, Shah Abdul Aziz, Ibrahim Paracha, Col "Sajid", Abdul Aziz in creating a fake group by the name of "Asian Tigers".

The purpose is two fold - 1) show that "ISI" is really the good guys and fighting against the "bad" taliban, while the "good" taliban has nothing to do with this "kidnapping" and 2) to get afghan taliban leaders released in "exchange" for the ISI agents - this would be the cherry on top for them.

According to family of Khalid Khwaja this kidnapping was in fact done by Punjabi Taliban faction. So, there may be in fact an internal issue of miscommunication between ISI handlers of Punjabi taliban and Mehsud Taliban, but the important thing to understand is that all the jihadi and taliban groups are inter-connected as they share the same area for training, resting and planning attacks.

What makes this laughable that the Afghan Taliban spokesmen is claiming that they have nothing to do with this and don't know where their "guests" went, when in fact afghan taliban have strong presence all over waziristan just like Pakistani taliban.

So, like I said this is part of an ISI drama and smoke and mirrors campaign. Col Imam at least cannot be harmed as this would cause bad blood between mullah omar and punjabi taliban faction.

Hope this helps your understanding better.

The funny thing is that terrorist are demanding release of their comrades in exchange of their strong supporters. I say let them cut these people in half.

"What does your story from a Western Jewish website have to do with ISI drama in Waziristan?"
That was a funny statement -- calling antiwar.com a "Western Jewish website". I have been visiting that site for more than 8 years and never heard any one accuse it of that. It is a Libertarian site. If you don't know what that means -- and I know you don't -- google up "Libertarian Pary" to get a clue.

CIA accused of ordering kidnap of former Pakistani spy

"The wife of Khalid Khawaja claims that her husband, who was once a confidante of Osama bin Laden, was taken at the request of the American intelligence service as he travelled through Pakistan's lawless tribal belt."

Were you guys holding out on this story? ;-)

(This also raises the question who planted the "'Punjabi Taliban' kidnapped my husband" story??? And how do you reconcile this kidnapping with Taliban=ISI?? Saying "this is ISI smoke-and-mirror" will not do :) )

  15. nota, I once offered WD something from Uroknet and was also rudely turned away. It may have been the same article. Or something else. But good to see you too look at antiwar.com or, I take it, What Really Happened? Now, the Telegraph does happen to belong to God's elect, as do all leading Brit dailies, no longer broadsheets, but mucksheets.

My day doesn't start till I have read EVERY link on WRH ;-) And don't think I have missed a day for over 8 years...(Another one I regularly visit is informationclearinghouse.info though haven't been that religious about Antiwar.com for some time due to lack of hours in the day...)

  17. Thanks, nota, then we're on the same wavelength there. Tom of ICH is slowing down and having money problems, as you must have noticed. But he was the pioneer figure in all this. Without him, I doubt many of us would have survived that first year of the dastardly war. And M. Riviero is the perfect anti-US commentator.

  19. Good man, nota, the world website is full of a lot of nonsensical stuff and then a few splendid blogs. On some other occasion, I'll give you the addresses of my two favourite sites. Thank God for shared tastes at last.

Shocking that you two of all people are so taken by a Western website dominated by staunch atheists, secularists and ultra-liberals. Haris Khan would be very disappointed in both of you.

It is not to late to repent and offer 2 rakat namaaz and do tauba.

    The news: http://www.thenews.com.pk/daily_detail.asp?id=235442

The family of Khalid Khwaja has to follow the ISI given script, especially when talking to a foreign journalist. This is the art of obfuscation practiced by ISI's taliban units very effectively.

Everyone from the tribal area knows that nothing happens in the region without approval of either taliban or the isi handlers. It is unthinkable. I have already given detailed information taken from public domain from ex-isi officers and jihadi assets on how ISI operates making this a typical ISI operation.

The ISI has excelled at being the middle man for CIA and its jihadis assets for decades and this is just an extension of this same working process and network. This is neither shocking or new news. Only someone very naive would think that ISI cannot work in different groups for the same goal.

As this drama has fallen flat on its face, ISI may be forced to sacrifice khalid khwaja for maximum effect. So far, most media are ignoring this ISI drama as no one in general public really cares for these ISI jihadis.

And if you really think CIA has taken away two high profile active ISI agents, I think you need to hit the books and relearn everything from scratch. ISI calls the shot on the ground. The air belongs to the CIA of course.
