    اچھی خبر اور اچھا فیصلہ ہے

    جسے پاکستان کی عملی سیاست کرنی ہے وہ صرف اور صرف پاکستانی ہونا چاہئیے

    ہاں ووٹ کا حق ہر پاکستانی کو ہونا چاہئیے

    یقینی نہیں ہے

    شروع شروع میں زرداری کے امریکی پاسپورٹ کا ذکر چلہ تھا جسکی بعد میں تردید کر دی گئی تھی - اگر زرداری کا ریڈ پاسپورٹ ہے تو اسکا بھی ہوگا

    ویسے ایسے لوگوں کو کسی پاسپورٹ کی ضرورت نہیں ہوتی - پاسپورٹ تو محنت کش طبقے کی ضرورت ہوتا ہے

    These dual citizens are only loyal to their adopted countries and must be prevented to hold any public office in Pakistan. There are number of examples from Moeen Qureshi to Shaukat Aziz and From Husain Haqqani to Farah Naz.

    They come to Pakistan through parachutes and vanish at the first sign of a danger. They can never be loyal to Pakistan and must not be allowed to take charge of the affairs in our country.

    I believe this dual-citizenship law is only an eligibility requirement for fresh seats. The senate seat vacated by Azam Swati will need to have a sole Pakistani candidate.

    ہم بخوبی جانتے ہیں کہ پاکستان میں بیٹھکر گڑھوں کی طرح پاکستان کے جسم سے گوشت نوچنے والے کس قدر ملک سے وفا دار ہیں

    ملک توڑنے والے، آئیں و قانون کی دھجیاں اڑانے والے، ملک لوٹ کر اپنے غیر ملک بنک بھرنے والے اور اپنی ساری دولت غیر قانونی طور پر باہر منتقل کرنے والے سب دوہری شہرت کے حامل ہیں؟

    ویسے عجیب سی بات ہے کہ جو پلے بڑھے پاکستان میں پھر مغربی ممالک ہجرت کر کے وہاں کا پانچ سال میں پاسپورٹ حاصل کرے اور وہاں کے قانون کے مطابق الیکشن ، اور پارلیمانی انتخابات میں حصہ بھی لے سکتا ہے پر جہاں سے اس کا اصل تعلق ہے وہاں پر نا اہل ہو جائے گا

    I don't think this will make much difference.

    As @bawa mentioned, passport/nationality is not really the concern of these people.

    Nawaz Shareef, Kiyani, Zardari may not have dual nationality, however, they wont have any problem in moving to US, UK, Dubai or Saudi Arabia for the rest of their lives.

    US grants a investment based green card for investing $1M. Most of the lawmakers, generals and even bureaucrats have this much money.

    Please specify the country that allows that?
    Canadian citizenship holders are not allowed to hold office in any foreign country. If you don't know that I should give you the example of Conrad Black the North American media baron accepted the Lordship in England, he denounced his allegiance to Canada as per Canadian rules.
