    ISLAMABAD: The former Information minister, Qamar Zaman Kaira denied reported news that he was to replace Fauzia Wahab for the post of central Secretary Information Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP), DawnNews reported on Friday.

    Kaira was talking to DawnNews, He said that the party’s core committee did not decide in Thursday’s meeting to replace Fauzia with himself, and that Ms Wahab was still PPP’s spokesperson.

    Fauzia out, Kaira in as PPP spokesman

    ISLAMABAD: In the three-year tenure of the government, the PPP appointed its third information secretary as President Asif Ali Zardari, being the Co-chairman of the ruling party, on Saturday appointed Qamar Zaman Kaira to the main post of the party in place of Fauzia Wahab.

    Kaira has also been elevated as the member of the Central Executive Committee, the top policy and decision making forum of the PPP.

    کافی بیوقوفیاں کر چکی تھی، لیکن یہ آخری والی اس کی اپنی بیوقوفی نہیں تھی، شاید رحمن ملک یا بابر اعوان کا مشوره تھا

    The role of Fauzia was the same as Salman Taseer and always made me think who let the dogs out.....but that is the role assigned to them and like they say every dog has it's day...

  15. On such assumed loyalty these folks usually get more respect and better ranks within PPP. Don't think she got sacked, she got elevated for future.
