    I have seen the live coverage of fazal ur rahman karachi jalsa at baghe jinnah at justin.tv .
    The crown was more bigger and more emotional than gathered by pti at the same avenue .Independent sources also confirm that it was bugger than that of pti like cnn and the newstribe etc.

    So another challenger has emerged in karachi.
    The rally was big.Most people who attended belong to deobandi madrassas in sindh.They rarely vote on election day and many of them are not registered voters anyway.
    Its the local organization which brings voters out on the polling day.

    Both Fazlo and Imran are beneficial for MQM. They will steal away Pathan votes from ANP and this, at least would give Pakhtons something useful to do with their lives besides ANP-supported-ethnic-terrorism in Karachi.

    hmm, so this jalsa was definitely bigger than tsunami, BBC certified!

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/urdu/pakistan/2012/01/120127_jui_khi_jalsa_zs.shtml

    I remember Fazlur said in his interview with Hamid Mir about a month ago that they will hold a big jalsa in Karachi. Hamid Mir mocked him and said that GEO will give comprehensive coverage if they do a jalsa bigger than tsunami.

    So Fazlur criticises establishment, so does N-League and the same two parties are also mad at PTI.

    This tells me establishment kee nigah-e-iltifaat is now on PTI and N-LEague and Fazlur are getting jealous.

    Naee aur jawan sokann se purani aur buddhi wives tou jalti hee hein. ab kiaa karein, shouhar hai hee itna rangeen mizaaaj..

    The interesting part is, MQM does not criticise establishment or IK and IK does the same. Bobby group kaa establishment kay saath koi khaas yaraana hai.

    Whose "crown" was that? Are you referring to Fazlu's turban? How that can be emotional?

    It was "bugger" then PTI??
    What kind of buggery activities they were involved in?

    There is no comparison between the PTI jalsa and this jalsa. One is a purely political event, while the other is a Madrassa Student Convention where thousands of madrassa students gathered for different religious leaders.

    These include most students who are from poor families who have absolutely know no knowledge of Pakistani politics. Many of them are Afghan migrants, etc.

    PTI's crowed consists of Pakistanis of all backgrounds.

    Having said that, the videos doesn't actually show it to be a bigger gathering - through ligtning was better.

    @bsobaid,

    The BBC's clubbing together of PTI's jalsa with the embarrassing jalsi of Musharraf makes me think something fishy with the reporter. There is no shortage of "coconuts" doing reports for BBC Urdu and they can be as weird as voicing for religious hypocrites like Maulanas to attack their main rival IK.

    There is absolutely no comparision between PTI's Jalsa, today's jalsa ,and Musharraf jalsi.

    Question: Why didn't Fazlu didn't attempt a Jalsa in Lahore in response to PTI?

    Answer: There are not as many Madrassas and organized religious groups in Lahore as in Karachi.

    This pic just shows the incredible scale of that jalsa.

    @niat,

    I dont think there was any false reporting. Fazlur jalsa must be bigger than tsunami in numbers.
    The participants may be madarsa students but in terms of attendance it was bigger.

    Answer:

    Pakistan Defence Council's rally at Minar-e-Pakistan : Biggest-ever in Lahore

    LAHORE: Tens of thousands gathered in one of the biggest-ever protests in the Pakistani city of Lahore Sunday to condemn Nato and United States over the killing of 24 soldiers along the Afghan border.
    The protestors, mainly from Islamist groups and political parties, vowed they would march to the capital Islamabad if the government did not cancel agreements between the US designed to fight terrorism.

    @bsobaid,

    I do not believe in BBC reporting since they were comparing Musharraf embarrassing jalsi with the PTI one.

    It is absolutely insane for anyone who has watched the embarrassing jalsi of Musharraf.

    I want some pictures to be compared.

    And in and of itself, gather Madrassa students is no political activity - it's a religious one.

    @DOC,

    Absolutely wrong. Give me any pictorial evidence which shows what you are suggesting. No reporter reported anything of the like.

    Lahroe Jalsa was the biggest in decades (PTI's one, that is).

    And Madrassas doesn't thrive as they do in Karachi (through they of course do) for Fazlu to gather a respectable crowed at Minar-e-Pakistan.

    where did he compare musharraf and PTI jalsa?
    The report only mentions them in one sentence and says fazlur jalsa was bigger than both.

    There is no harm in admitting fazlur's was bigger

    To mention Musharraf jalsa with these two is an insult to the political intelligence of the people who witnessed the jalsas.

    You have to prove that it was a bigger. Pictorial evidence will do. Compare it with the pic I posted of Karachi Jalsa (at afternoon, when more people were arriving) just below the Lahore Jalsa pic.

    Care to do that?

    Now I tell you what makes it look like a "bigger" jalsa. It is BETTER LIGHTNING.

    For example, you saw the above pic of Lahore jalsa - superb, very good lightning. Now this is the Karachi Jalsa pic from the same angle:

    http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=300578346651259&set=a.300577119984715.69076.143462899029472&type=3&theater

    Bad lightning, but the crowed was massive.

    Besides, it is complete nonsense to compare a Madrassa Convention with gathering from a specific background (madarassas students and teachers) with the genuinely public gathering from all walks of life in PTI jalsas.

    Any political person will recognize this point.

    All I can say is PTI lovers are in denial.

    Its not a bid deal though, not sure why Immu lovers are so pissed of. Fazlur attendance does not translate into votes as majority of them have their votes registered outside of Karachi and probably many of them are poor Afghan orphans and displaced people.

    we shuold give credit to fazal ur rehman that he managed bigger jalsa than pti. also it was political as there were following slogans
    who will save pak fazul rehman
    who will be pm fazul reham

    etc.

    Between pti and fazal ur rehman supporters should keep in mind that gathering people does not make a person leader or saviour or pm.

    Ground is clearly full,according to those present,crowd was even spilling out on numaish chowrangi, remember it was all men event unlike PTI's mixed gathering. Even JI wasn't present. Munawar Hasan has issues with Fazal on revival of MMA otherwise if thats revived then even these numbers too could be easily surpassed..

    It was a decent show by Fazul saab, I did not think he had in him. Whether it was bigger than IK jalsa in Karachi, I do not know, need to look into it.

    @doctor

    It seems u have come a supporter of Maulana saab, shame Noon league won't ever be able to do what IK and Maulana saab did. Nawaz Sharif does that kind of jalsa in Karachi, that would be someting to see. However he is only good at sitting in Raiwind and trashing MQM.

    @DOC,

    Ground was absolutely full, no doubt. But tell me, was it not in PTI's jalsa?

    All the media reported during PTI's jalsa that the ground is full and people are stuck outside becuase there is no place inside.

    Just see the vidoe I linked.

    I am not saying PTI jalsa was bigger in anyway, but hhat JUI's jalsa wasn't bigger. They both packed the ground to the fullest.

    It was all madrassas crowed.

    @Respect,

    This is a combined jalsa of JUI and local religious groups and Madrassas pundits. There were religious leaders on stage who run chains of Deobandi Madarris.

    It was simply a religious convention, and not a political activity.

    Maulana certainly has "this" in him, he is the biggest religious crook of all.

    also fazal ur rehman did this julsa in karachi without being afraid of mqm ,without changing his stance on mqm and without fixing with mqm like pti.

    Also unlike pti ,he did not send his delegation to nine zero requesting cooperation from mqm for karachi jalsa.
