-Sec Defense Sacked,PM's trusted Nirgis Sethi given additional charge

- 111 brigade gets a new commander..

All sides should show restrain and don't take any stupid step

- National assembly session which was earlier scheduled for 25 jan have been called earlier(13 jan). Govt might try to preempt and pass some joint resolution against judiciary and or Army ? Would MQM,PML Q be part of any such move ..?

Bhaijaan, aap ka analysis hypothesis par mubni hai. Yeh government apni term poori karay gi. SC mein agar itnay tappar hotay tu kaal hee kaam tamam kar deti lekin doctrine of necessity phir saali aray aa gai. Ab tu CJ bhee apni indecisiveness kee wajah say compromised ho chuka hai.

Did any body hear that if JUI-F has decided to remain absent from any voting process in NA tomorrow?

Tomorrow it is heard that YRG will try to take vote of confidence from parliament. ANP is going to hold their meeting tonight. Mr. Fazal-ur-Rahman has also met with Ishrat-ul-Ibad few days back. Ch. Shujaat has also advised PPP to not take panga with ARMY because their politics solely depends on army support.

Situation is changing minute by minute.

These touts and hitmen for the military establishment would never want to bail out PPP in this particular scenario. It think that it is a fantastic opportunity for both PPP and PML (N) to put their marriage of convenience back on tract ala 2008 and get rid of these touts and assert civilian supremacy once and for all.

OK. You must not forget that yesterday's decision was by a bench of 5 members only. By giving an optional based decision and referring the matter to the larger bench, has blocked the way for PPP to fight this case with the legal twists. Now when the larger bench of SC will consider the decision of 5 member bench regarding contempt of court, the government has no further forum except review petition which will again be heard by same judges. Remember that yesterday's decision has been legally referred and now it is not like a new application but like a report to the senior bench. Because if it were a final decision by 5 member bench then an appeal petition could take different twists and time span. I hope you got it.

Hmmm....might be a bit late for that. PMLN are firmly on the SC side, don't think any marrige is possible. The groom is probably feeling too betrayed after the bride's brother said he will hang the groom upside down :)

I don't know what the bride's family will feel about it, they just spent the last few months gathering all thier khandaan for "go groom go" slogans.

But in case there is a marriage, don't forget to send me an invite, I'm sure there will be some delicious biryani served at the valima :)

Zingaro,

What makes you think that the government is even contemplating on triumphing over the SC? They will do what they have done best in the last 4 years, buy time. If they a review petition, good on them; this case would drag until the end of the term; exactly what they have envisaged.

Well they seem to have long plans. SC's 7 member larger bench headed by Justice Nasirul MulK will 'start hearing' NRO case on 16th..(Don't expect anything even on 16th.. they might issue notices..)

Election Commission & Nadra says that voter list can't be updated before 30th April..

Has anyone noticed the level of interest among indians in this matter.

They are flooding their usual anti.pakistan filth on all international news websites covering this story.

In hindustantimes there were 15pages of user comments on this story within 8-10 hours...

- Mansoor Ijaz most probably coming to pakistan without a visa. ISI personnel might be accompanying him..

- A PP supporter tried to lodge a FIR against Mansoor Ijaz,the SHO refused to file a case and asked him to get a permission from MEMO commision before filing any case against him..
